I stopped keeping tabs on a lot of people I used to follow a while back but I'm slowly picking up where I left off and making posts here. I like the kinds of people you're talking about, just idiots being idiots (usually) without any gross fetishes or skeletons in their closet. When I write up posts depending on how deep things go (or how deep I'm willing to go) I'll either post about them in the "Personal Lolcows" thread here in Animal Control or I'll start a proper thread in Prospering Grounds. However since a lot of the people I follow don't chimp out and cause drama I don't really have faith that my threads will ever leave PG so I advise you check there once in a while.

The TLDR:
Remember MAPs and AAMs? Since the Fediverse/Matrix/Mastodon happened, all the pedos moved there and have been curating insulated spaces and feedback loops for themselves. These people are brazen enough to refer to this collection of spaces as the Pediverse.
There are pedophiles online in these instances/websites that voice their ideology, vent their frustrations with the lack of acceptance for their "sexualities", create porn for one another, and most importantly network and share resources.
The unofficial name of this community seems to be paraspace, paracommunity, paraphile community, stuff along those lines
Teenagers also seem to be ending up in these spaces, with the notable presence of Adult Attracted Minors. AAMs are teenagers who are romantically/sexually involved with MAPs. They advertise "sessions" and lament on the fact that their sexual value has an expiration date. They are going to be the next generation of groomers doing this.
The document focuses on Ezra, but shows the reality of what is happening as we speak in these spaces, which is vocal advocacy for child abuse, animal abuse, mistreatment of corpses, the grooming of children to become pedophiles themselves, the exchange of CSAM, and more.

Personal observations:
The size of this pocket of the paracommunity is fairly small, with a range of several hundred to several thousand internetworked individuals.
The introduction to this network seems to come through

The amount of organization present in these communities is a very new thing. Baraag has been around for a few years, but the "sparklepedo" shit seems to have only been around for like a year tops. I don't know.

I don't know what the remedy is to this.
