Latest video (posted 6 days ago) confirms that he was ordered by city officials to halt the project, but he thinks that it "shouldn't be too hard" to get permits and approval to continue (lol). Absolutely insane, great thread.

The troon was able to build a lift out of galvanized steel, which isn't something you'll even start working with typically til you've gotten certified on your G1-G3 positions manual arc welding. This troon is, at the very least, fit to build skyscrapers, regardless of whether they are building this tunnel correctly or not.
