Yeah, he's a clout goblin, but he's still throwing rocks in a glass house; like I said, by his own definition, Max is a pedo. He's going to continue to throw everything he can at Camden because there's a massive conflict of interest between him and Spenser since she's a family friend, and Max and her possibly have a sexual relationship going on because Max can't stop sticking his wiener in crazy chicks. After seeing this, I just get angry at how retarded Max is. If this goofy sounding cult is real, he is totally mishandling the situation. And if it gets shot down there, go a step higher. The system isn't fucked up just because you're retarded and don't know how it works. If the sheriff of Baldwin County is ignoring a case of someone holding CP and literally trafficking, raping, and inducing abortions in minors, then when his boss finds out about it his balls will be on the grill.
