Again, you're ignoring the fact that it's all just a ploy to get more ESG money. They don't give a flying fuck if it makes the franchise profitable or not. If they wanted Star Wars to be profitable first and foremost, they'd hire Michael Bay or Peter Jackson and just make 12 copy-paste movies of the OT gang working alongside the Filoniverse characters blowing up shit and looking cool. Luke fucks a hot redhead while Lando makes Ahsoka spell the alphabet backwards with each thrust in bed. Sex jokes and action was how Hasbro's Transformers conquered the Chinese movie market multiple times. These companies KNOW how to make this shit profitable; they're just choosing to not do it.

The path to making a franchise profitable is clear; just make a decent, serviceable movie with the SW brand, with the main characters portrayed as heroes, and you'll get the fans' butts on the seats rather quickly. These corporate types just don't give a shit, and they want that cheap ESG/Blackrock money, even at the expense of the franchise they bought. They don't care whether or not a franchise is profitable so long as they profit themselves, and putting in some activist twat who promises to make men uncomfortable is a quick way for these corporate bigwigs to get ESG money.

They had two choices; make the franchise profitable, or make a quick buck off ESG by making the franchise politically-correct. They chose the latter over the former. And what we're seeing are the results. The franchise becomes less profitable, the fans are calling foul, but the CEOs got a quick money gift from Blackrock, so they don't give a flying shit if the franchise crashes and burns. They got theirs, fuck everyone else.

WDW Pro used to be solid. And is still a reliable source about parks.

Hard to have another TLJ or Rise fuck up when you're making some basic bitch tv show for what amounts to peanuts in comparison, especially when you don't need multi multi million dollar marketing campaigns to hype them up. And even those have been having increasingly diminishing returns since, what, the fucking 2nd season of Mando? Yeah real good indicator that Disney is gonna just throw another few hundred mil in the gutter for a film when their most positively received thing went to shit by it'd 2nd season.

For fucks sake these retards got so desperate they started milking the Prequels by bringing back Ewan and Hayden despite making it very clear for like 10 years they wanted nothing to do with that era in the slightest. They even started trying to stroke filoni even more than usual by letting him have a show for his orange waifu that literally no one gave a fuck about outside of the Hayden cameo(s). And we see how that played out. And then there's Andor, a show based around the 3rd most forgettable character in the only movie they've made that wasn't a complete dumpster fire, that was doing so shit they started showing it off of D+ in a desperate attempt to garner interest.

Until we see an actual trailer for a film, you're doing nothing but buying into shitty click/rage bait from rumor mills banking on Star Wars being an easy attention grabber.

On the last book of FoTJ, and I've had a pretty good time overall. My only true gripe at this point is the Lost Tribe and Vestara in particular. The Tribe just feels like a gaggle of fucking retards who go on and on about how they're such true and awesome sith, but seemingly don't know a single fucking thing about the sith other than the loose origins of the order/race.

They feel less like sith and more like retarded Jedi going through an edgy teen phase. I don't believe for a second any of these fuckups would last a single second in the presence of a sith like Vader or even fucking Dooku. Let alone Big Sheev. The latter of whom was literally laughed at as if he was a drooling autist by the Sith of Old. Yet these cunts all act like they're the truest form of Sith the galaxy has ever known, despite being litersl who's trapped on a shitball world in the middle of nowhere space for their entire existence

And Vestara is probably the most annoying case of this. I get that her retarded bullshit stems from being a literal child raised to think the Galaxy owes her everything for simply being a sith, but the way she just drones on and on about how she's a sith and so much better and more capable than a jedi could ever comprehend is grating. Then we get into her painfully, obviously, doomed face turn and how it's supposed to be such a big shock and gut punch when she relapses during the little scuffle with that bug by sacrificing Natua and I'm just so done with this cunt. I cannot wait until someone, anyone, cuts her down. Ben, Jaina, I don't care. I just want to be done with this chick. Every step of the way she's irritated me because it was clear what her part of the story would be. Not even the sparse moments of being tolerable could warm me up to her. Even fucking Ben grew on me, and I hated this ginger faggot with a passion at the start of this series. Now he's genuinely one of my favorite characters. But Ves? Hope she diced like her old hag master did.

Thats it. Just wanted to rant about this series a bit. Oh I also don't like Jaina still. I'm not looking forward to working my way backwards to see more of her, but maybe she'll grow on me after seeing where she started. Here's hoping.
