I've never heard of someone being penalized for violating their probation in the Denver area. I know someone who did a year of alcohol monitoring here after a >0.02 DUI and drank vodka starting in the afternoon every day of that besides MAYBE a handful cumulatively. His probation is now over.

That 0.02BAC is for under 21 btw.

I know someone who did a month in county because he failed 2 drugs tests for heroin and I know for a fact he wasn’t an addict at all or ever.

It’s all fucked.

Shit the guy who was doing 100mph and killed a mom and son on a 35mph road recently had been deported 4 times before. Damn this state is fucked.

How is he getting out so quick. Every time he goes to jail he’s out in a day or two. Are the judges just liberal fuckheads that think everyone should get a PR bond?
You’d think they would see he’s homeless and decide it’s better to leave him in jail
It's almost impossible to jail someone exclusively for petty vagrant shit these days. Especially in blue cities the violent crime rate has skyrocketed ever since Biden took office so the cells are needed for rapists and murderers you know, the people you really don't want to be walking around.

Annoying but harmless bums like Larson generally get booked and released until the do something really outrageous.

He's also really pitiful looking and visibly retarded so women and other soft hearted progressive types are probably giving him a lot of undeserved leeway.

RE: Larson following rules and not tarding hard and getting kicked out.

He would need to be cogwheeled for that, I think. But cogwheeling was something they did in the looney bins of nineteen tickety two (and Susan Schofield).
What do I mean by cogwheeling?

Thorazine and/or a cocktail of Thorazine and some other 1950's dirty drug. Enough Thorazine could cogwheel him, but I'm guessing there's a better chance with a cocktail.
Cogwheeling would have a patient 1000 yard stare, drooling, and shuffling around the dayroom pillars--out of the way of staff--all day till the nighty night cocktails.
Yeah, sometimes they pee or beat off in their pants, but they'll still cogwheel around the dayroom pillars. As long as they aren't touching the bow tied staff in the while uniforms.

Him trespassing at DIA is even more odd, how? Why? I’m fairly certain you need a ticket to get to the chapel (where I think he was in that video, never knew it existed or that there was one) could be wrong and it could be outside security on the second floor but I’m still just puzzled. It’s at LEAST an hour drive to DIA from boulder/golden/Denver area. And that’s using the toll road.
In the video he says that he didn't pass through security. Still no idea why he was at the airport though, he makes it sound like he was waiting for a bus, but this is Daniel so everything he says should be taken as a lie until proven otherwise.

Cause airports have relatively open promenade areas before the main security portions that are not unlike mall food courts, and given that Daniel's bank had a small popup branch in that area it's likely he saw the place as an opportunity to squat and stay away from the cold. On a passing first glance with the wifi and shelter, it probably seemed perfect to his tard mind.

DIA has dedicated rail & bus routes. But yea it's still completely out of the way, which makes it funnier.

It's less than 40 minutes from union station in denver to dia on the light rail, an hour and a half from golden to dia the same way. You can ride without a ticket pretty easily too, they rarely check
As for the actual reason he went to DIA, who fucking knows

I avoid all that light rail shit. I like driving. Thank you for the info, I do know also that relying on some lines (a) is a bad idea lol.

Why dia? I need to know.

He better figure it out because it’s about to be cold af this weekend. -11/-12 with a high of 1° (f)

It kind of amazes me being that he's on probation and he has clearly violated it in a myriad of ways.
1. New charges
2. Contact with the police
3. No stable housing
4. I would put money on him fail a drug test
No sure of how Colorado probation works but where I am if you violate you have to Gagon hearing the first one is quick the 2nd takes months and because you've violated they hold you without bond.
I'm really amazed he's just allowed to run wild and I makes makes me wonder if that is the same for all nonviolent criminal offenders.

Colorado probation is fucking weird. You either get away with tons of bullshit or they throw the book at you the first time.
I have no idea how he’s been able to just run wild in the state still. It makes no sense to me. It could be that it’s not a drug issue and that’s why he’s free so fast.

ALSO HOLY SHIT IF I WAS HOMELESS IN CO TODAY ID PICK JAIL. 35mph winds (30mph consistent) with gusts near 50.

I'm familiarizing myself with Daniel Larson and just like you three said I wonder how the fuck he's allowed to do what he does. As he escalates, they allow him to continue running the streets. What more needs to happen for the authorities to see Daniel needs 24/7 supervision?

Last night I watched Part Three of the Kusari docuseries of Daniel Larson and now watching Parts 1 and 2.

Found this on TikTok from 1/9/2024

I’m surprised he got out so quick, and for what reason? It’s fucking freezing today. The wind is super shitty.
Long history of mental instability. Every time you see a new judge they look at your docket, go "Holy fuck this guy is a terror" then they actually interact with him and it pulls at their heart strings. Mandatory counselling, banned from the location, get the fuck out of my court room because I have actual criminals to deal with. It happens all the time, wackjobs are just in and out of court rooms with multiple slaps on the wrist over decades.

He keeps getting out because he is clearly a mental health issue. And neither the Judge nor the Jail are particularly enthusiastic about dealing with such. Daniel is a waste of the courts time. Any and every court. He's yet another derranged big city homeless schizo. Except Danny boy has somehow found an audience online.

As far as street crazy people go Danny is at best a 5 out of 10. He's mostly coherrent, not particularly prone to random violence. (Its mostly more annoyance than violence) And hasn't started flinging his own poop at people yet.

IDK, so maybe someone here knowledgeable can answer: Does Danderson have a possible legal/mental health advocate?

Not necessarily a case manager, but someone he's interacted with besides Bob, who has shown up to court multiple times to serve as his advocate and wag a finger and "remind" the court he has rights?

Because I swear this seems like a likely answer for why the President hasn't been locked up and cogwheeled.

No. The only true advocates he's had were his late grandmother and, to an extent, Bob. Both are out of the picture now.

The area of Denver has been having a difficult time with homeless, but since COVID it's quite a bit worse. A lot of encampments and things that weren't visible half a decade ago are now relatively tolerated due to the unsatisfactory municipal budget and that the people in charge don't care. Dan is a proverbial 'can kicked down the alley' by authority figures who genuinely don't have the oversight, the authority or time to babysit a retard who has consistently demonstrated that he is willfully noncompliant unless if you watch him 24/7.

His escalating behavior hasn't reached a breaking point yet. As the cogs of the legal system continue to turn, this will change. Daniel has been having mental health episodes/tardouts over the number of legal proceedings against him he has to attend. Eventually something will give.

The only TRUE and HONEST advocates, but at least Grandma Nancy ain't alive to see the shit storm her grandson created. And Bob bounced and dropped contact with Danderson, Noped out of Daniel's life for sure.

His five warrants will catch up with him eventually, if not something worse comes first with the high number of his legal issues; there's bound to be a breaking point this year.

Here in pittsburgh we have warming stations that pop up around the city when the temperature drops into the teens and if you're unlucky to see one of them it looks like a homeless people convention. I'm sure Denver has something similar if not the same thing. They let anyone in despite drug problems or mental issues.
It seems like Daniel takes public transportation all day to stay warm and ends up were the bus drivers kick him off.
I truly believe Daniel is not going to make it more that 2 or 3 more years at this rate and will just randomly die one day and his body not be found for weeks or he'll die spectacularly while streaming it on tiktok, it's the only reason I'm paying attention to him.

The Police and courts don't want to spend all days dealing with crazy street bums when they're backlogged with more serious cases and their cells are needed for more dangerous criminals. In theory this is where mental health services should be picking up the slack but 1) they don't have the funding and 2) that approach only works on compliant people which Dan is not.

There's thousands of crazy street bums all over Colorado just like Dan, maybe hundreds of thousands all over the country. They live out their entire lives on the streets yelling at cars until they succumb to addiction or the elements, but that can take decades. People are acting shocked at how people like Dan or Cobes are spiralling downwards, but it just shows a bit of naivete to yell "won't someone do something?" That's most people's first reaction to finding out that homeless people aren't in fact another species, they were at some point people just like you or me and then things went wrong. Sometimes those things were their fault, sometimes not, but usually, like with Cobes and Dan, it's a complex mixture where it's hard to point the finger at one person, event or problem and say "that's why he's homeless". What's different about Dan and Cobes is that we are seeing, for many people for the first time, the process by which people go from safe, housed, loved and secure to crazy/alcoholic hobos on the street. Cobes isn't homeless yet, but he's going through the process.

Dan and Cobes, in terms of what is happening to them mentally and physically, are not unusual people. This is just the human-to-bum pipeline in action the way it has been for millennia. There have been crazy shouting street people for as long as there have been streets for them to shout in.

Two things are different, though.

The first is that we are seeing these people descend in real-time, on livestream. Some people in both threads are really shocked by what is happening, as if people spiralling into homelessness is unusual and thinking that Surely Something Must Be Done. Nope. The simple fact is that life is often unimaginably cruel. In fact, to most people on the planet, that cruelty is the norm. I hope that people might learn from those insights. There's a bitter irony that the people gaining more understanding and empathy for these situations are Kiwifarmers, the Worst People On The Internet (tm), and the people treating them as interactive zoo exhibits are on Reddit, which is the Good Part Of The Internet (tm) because they ban you if you say retarded rather than regarded, as if that somehow makes you a better person.

The second, of course, is that both these people are being fucked with for clout. Unlike the millennia-old bum problem, this Truman Show shit is new. People are trying to predict what the future is for Dan and Cobes, (and maybe Cyrax once his grandma dies), but at this point I don't know. It could reach a breaking point. It could go on forever. It could peter out as the weens lose interest and move on. I don't know, nobody does, and this is new. We're just going to have to watch and see what happens. I think the likes of Cobes and Dan are a bellwether for where our society and culture is going. They really do bring into focus the fact that people are now judged based on what they say, not what they do. The Kiwis who observe are evil because they sometimes say "Tranny". The Redditors who torment homeless retards are good because they don't. Holy shit we're fucked.

They do have warming centers in every city here at least. BUT. They won’t put up with shit. I’m sure it looks similar to Philly sadly. They should be setting them up for tomorrow night? If not tonight. The lows keep getting lower (-15f without wind chill on Sunday I think)

I forgot homeless use rtd to keep warm, they tried to crack down on that, (15 down colfax & stabbings ruined it for a while) actually they might have more busses out this weekend to keep people warm.

I've noticed almost the opposite. Outside of Kiwi Farms and a couple slightly more sympathetic than usual YouTubers, most people seem to be cheering on their declines rather than sincerely thinking that anyone should help them. With Cobra I'd say most of the people saying "he needs to be put in a group home" seem less concerned about Cobra and his health/safety and more just looking for something to pick at Clint about.
That's the commenters though. I think (well, I hope) that the reaction of people who watch but don't interact is a bit more sympathetic, even if it's in the naive "someone needs to help this guy!!!" way.

I find this part of Daniel Larson's story so morbidly fascinating. The trolling that used to happen to Chris Chan back in his prime was very different in that even though it was often mean-spirited and sadistic, and even reached into the physical world sometimes too, the things that people used to do would typically slot into his delusions about the world in some way. Like dressing up as a pickle man and stealing his girl, that was mean, but like, you could still see the joke they were making about the way Chris called dicks pickles. With Daniel the change I've noticed recently is that now, a lot of the people who harass him don't do it with any kind of joke about his delusions attached. It's literally just walking up and throwing drinks on him.
How long before we see people just run up to Dan and start beating the shit out of him for internet clout? That's the way it seems to be trending to me.
Frankly, I'm not sure what's worse now that I'm thinking about it. Is it more cruel to fuck with somebody's elaborate fantasy that they use to cope with the world, or to just straight up assault them? When I wrote the first paragraph I felt it was the latter, but I'm not sure.

I was able to complete the Kusari three-part series on Daniel Larson and I see the sympathy he gets. I also notice the heavy trolling that seems to be prevalent. My only hope is he gets incarcerated or placed in a care facility permanently. To be honest, his admitting to masturbating to children, the animal sexual abuse, scabies, and the severe mood swings he's a danger to himself and others. It's astounding he's skated by for as long as he has. But after reading plenty of informative posts in this thread the mental illness and homelessness works to his advantage for sure. But it's undeniable his behavior has escalated and gotten progressively worse.

I hope no children or animals are harmed by him.

I doubt it. As people have mentioned, the court just wants him in and out because he hasn't done anything too crazy yet, and people would just rather not deal with him. There are definitely various advocates/helpers/etc. that some people could get as assistance(sometimes private groups, sometimes municipal programs) but at the same time considering how long Larson has been doing this crap and is actively causing issues those people would likely drop him fairly quickly and move on to help other people who actually do want the assistance. Larson probably still has enough sense to behave himself in front of a judge and no one is going to want him clogging up the system for doing practically nothing(yet).

For most people it's more like random bums on the street just "appear out of the blue one day" rather than being someone spiraling into that mess for a variety of reasons. Generally it's because it's never seen unless you've either got a family member you're watching circling the drain, or maybe some clips from a bodycam footage thing that are really just a small snapshot of the perpetual bullshit.
