It has most definitely infiltrated the illicit opioid market. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some cretins that put fentanyl into other harder stuff, like MDMA. The real concern, however, is cross-contamination. A lot of people think it's some kind of joke as to how little fentanyl it takes to seriously fuck someone up, let alone cause death. It's not, that's specifically how fentanyl was designed.

The idea was that you could have a super-potent opioid for patient pain relief. Because it is so potent, that means a lot less of it needs to be given to a patient via IV. Generally, the less you have to push via IV, the better because this reduces risk of phlebitis (irritation) and blowout (vein leaks) which reduces the risk of infiltration and extravasation (non-irritating and irritating fluids leaking into surrounding tissue).

You might only be buying weed, but if that retard re-uses their speedball cocaine-fent workspace without cleaning, then there is a risk of cross contamination. There was a case of marijuana being tainted with fentanyl in CT, most likely caused by cross-contamination. Most fentanyl will be heavily stepped on, because the amount for IM injection is 1-2mcg/kg or 0.5-1mcg/lbs. Wings of Redemption (400 lbs) would need a dosage of 200-400 mcg, which is 0.0002-0.0004 grams. According to Wikipedia, this is what 2mg of pure fentanyl looks like, which would be 5-10x the recommended dosage for Wings.

There's basically no "pure" opioids out there anymore, unless they're pills that come directly from a pharmacy. But most pills out there are pressed by drug distributors, so even something that looks like a percocet could contain fentanyl and other adulterants. There are basically no crushable oxycontin pills out there because they stopped making them over a decade ago, and now doctors can only prescribe pills that are specifically made to be uncrushable. So any "blues" on the market are 100% fentanyl. Almost all heroin out there is adulterated with fentanyl.

As to non-opioid drugs, you find it in "molly" (depending on the maker of the drug, since it's actually more economical to fudge the MDMA effect by combining a research chemical + amphetamine), and I've seen/heard reports of it in cocaine--though I never understood the point of that since the opioid effect is so different than what you'd purchase cocaine for. Also it's sometimes present as an adulterant in (pressed) benzo pills. This study I'm looking at suggests it's been found in methamphetamines as an adulterant, perhaps to induce dependency (which could explain the cocaine as well, if it didn't seem so shockingly present in cocaine samples from the US).

You're at best flipping a coin when you buy street drugs as to whether you'll be ingesting fentanyl or not. It's really not something you want to mess with, if only because of how dangerous it is in the hands of retards involved in the illegal drug market.

It's actually pretty good odds that Ralph has ingested fentanyl as an alprazolam adulterant, honestly.

My impression during Weeb Wars is he was never really much of an anime fan. He'd routinely screw things up like thinking Amanda Winn Lee was the VA of Misato (she was Rei's VA). He did have watch parties for Elfen Lied (overrated crap) and Vinland Saga (quite good), but I think that was predominately because of who his audience was at the time. I think the whole Redo of Healer thing is for the shock value, and because he's a perv.

That might just be my impression though. Others are free to disagree.

I half expect the entire crux of his defense to be that he's a comedian, and that Montagraph is a public figure because he's some moron who has been on the internet since the early streamer days.

I'm sure this was Nick's plan from the very early days of the lawsuit. He's been attempting to frame himself as a 'shock jock' type radio presenter, rather than a lawyer offering legal advice to listeners. Because, when found to be culpable, the two things would have very different implications in terms of quantum of damages. People aren't likely to take the kind of garbage that your Opie and Anthony, cthagod, Howard Stern types spout very seriously.

When you're holding yourself out there as a lawyer though, your audience will make the justifiable assumption that you actually know the law. So you wouldn't be saying something that was defamatory -- and particularly not something so injurious to reputation as an accusation of sexually molesting children -- if it wasn't true.

So he's been trying to rapidly back-pedal from his insistance that he is the pope of lawtube and that his show was all about 'lawsplaining the interwebs' in a desperate attempt to reduce those damages in case he actually does end up in front of a jury and that jury happens to find against him.

When I think back to when I first signed up to kiwifarms, people hadn't quite twigged to what a moron Rekieta was yet (though they were definitely beginning to) and I think there was a majority of posters who were just completely buying Rekieta's claims that Monty was a kiddy-fiddler. So I wouldn't expect it to be very difficult at all for Monty's lawyers to be able to show the extent to which Monty's reputation has been damaged by the lawyer, Nick Rekieta making defamatory claims about him having sex with children. To be as charitable as possible, it's a rape-tinged revenge power fantasy that turns pretty quickly into an erotic power fantasy that borders on hentai. Any actually interesting elements of the story or in-universe power mechanics is subsumed by pure eroticism after a certain point, after which it becomes just a power fantasy hentai. It unfortunately gets put in the same category as something like Goblin Slayer, which I actually think is a wrongly maligned, solid manga with a good story that faithfully applies D&D mechanics.
