"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

I can't help but notice that the beatboxing guy failed to mention why Youtube isn't pushing his videos anymore in his begging video. He swept his fetish under the rug pretty quickly. I spose when your audience is comprised of mostly pre-teens you can assume they won't ask any questions.

Isn't it wild that if you are black and big enough on Youtube you can get away with using characters like Mickey Mouse in your stupid cartoons but a smaller channel can get nuked because they used a Pokemon avatar.

Re: Indians in college, I'll powerlevel a bit
I was in a tech program in a Canadian college and graduated in the last 5 years. My program was probably 90%+ Indian. They barely ever showed up, they were disruptive when they did, they smelled like shit and they were everywhere. I could count the non-Indians in my program (of about 500) on both hands. They also cheated on the work constantly, in the laziest ways possible.

God forgive me as I trespass with this shit.

Olivia was not the main character of gone with the wind. Scarlett O'Hara played by Vivien Leigh was the main character. Olivia De Havilland played Melanie. Melanie got the guy Scarlett wanted to fuck. Instead Scarlett "settled" with Rhett (Clark Gable). Scarlett was a selfish child. and coveted what others had. After She had an argument (and was maritially rapped by Rhett), they get into a real argument and she suffers a miscarriage after she falls down the stairs. And then her only child dies. she comes to figure out that even though she coveted Wilkes, she loved Rhett, but he said tough shit and left her. The end of the film showed that Scarlett never grew out of being a petulant spoiled landowner and she got what she deserved.

Olivia was never a character in gwtw. Just an actress that played a supporting character.

Sounds like Josh's crappy website is running out of something non-obvious(socket buffers? slabs?)

Also: memtest86 for the desktop RAM. And Prime95 for stressing CPU.
both good tools, but one Windows crash is probably not a hardware problem. Previous linux crashes can probably be attributed to the fact that linux fucking sucks to use. The Windows one is very likely just Windows keeping pace at fucking sucking.
"You will not get a stable OS on good hardware because you could use that to be a stalker child" - Bill Gates and Richard Stallman at the make computers fucking suck conference

True, he did unplug and re-plug a USB device without powering off and waiting 5 minutes before booting it again. But a little stress testing never hurts.

YouTube archive for Mad at the Internet (January 12th, 2024) censored version due to a worldwide block by Create Network AFF.

The claim was for the clussy-chaser video so I assumed it was for Cartoon Beatbox Battles but there is some talk it could be for the Hazbeen Hotel people protecting their brand. Whoever they are, they're going after all reuploads apparently, I sent in a counterclaim but they rejected it immediately meaning my only options were full name/address/etc, trim out the segment, or upload a new version.

EDIT: They claimed the second version too, I disputed it by saying the edit makes it mine now. Anyone with some free time, please make sure to spread the video as far and wide as possible. Thanks!

Link to other upload, section now trimmed out:

I’m starting to think that VerbalAse might be worthy of his own thread if he’s going to try and play the DFE route.

Wasn't Tate a kickboxer before he got into his pimping nonsense? Kinda have to be in that sort of shape to compete in combat sports, and at top level everyone's on some kind of gear. I'd imagine he just didn't feel like stopping his cycles as he got older for personal image reasons as well as being able to project what appears to be masculinity to his audience as opposed to him trying to attract men for hook ups or whatever.

ETA on the Valve legal stuff: The "use it or lose it" principle isn't just unwritten, it's a codified (though nebulous still) thing referred to as abandonment. Ironically, the intent with the introduction of this principle was to weaken copyrights by making it not feasible for large companies to buy up a bunch of copyright and then sit on it and do nothing but stifle the industry, yet it had the opposite effect of making everyone way more protective of their IP because now there exists the possibility to lose it if you're not. Furthermore, the portal demake may have been them wanting to get ahead of Nintendo, who is notoriously litigious due to that time they almost suffered trademark genericide back when parents called every video game console "a nintendo." They've got far too much at stake to lose, and they've had a past brush with death, so Nintendo really doesn't like to fuck around.

Also worth noting, this isn't the first time this has happened. TF2 Classic and Open Fortress were forced to not share their downloads by Valve a couple years ago, but they worked things out in private and are back up and running. (Also, while I haven't played TF2 Classic, I can recommend Open Fortress as a good time if you like arena shooters. Just not always that populated.)
