This might be a tad unfair because the artist is not really an SJW, and keeps politics off of her tumblr blog (which I immediately respect), but I cannot help but notice how this anime-style lends no femininity to feminine characters. While not as awful as other drawings of Lady Maria, I find that this artist draws women terribly. Her Ludwig and Laurence pieces, as well as one work of Godwyn the Golden, are excellent.

I get that she's aiming for androgyny, yet all of her female characters, even ones without the build of Lady Maria, look like this.

Artist is subzeroparade on tumblr. She's got a PhD in art history. I would have expected better anatomy and better understanding of the female form.

Trannies make everything so needlessly complicated. Just ask if the other person feels alright and be done with it. And if you're feeling symptoms of shame, guilt, or inner turmoil after sex then you should probably talk to a professional about that.

BDSM weirdos always get so hung up on aftercare, but the vast majority of people don't need "aftercare" because normal sex isn't a "hey let's see how hard we can hit each other" contest. If you feel shameful and guilty after what you call sex, or your partner feels terrible after what you call sex, maybe you should reconsider doing whatever you're calling sex. Sex, intimacy, shouldn't be this violent and traumatic.

It bugs me to high heaven that this is a PhD in art history and yet she draws like a 20 something fresh on tumblr. She's had plenty of time to study sexual dimorphism. Her Maria is straight up fuck ugly. It's like she swaps the color palettes and the face shapes with different hair.

Every time I see that pic I cringe. It's awful and I get a visceral reaction from it.

I love the Bobby Hill couples therapist comic, but the sequel was unnecessary. Both from a storytelling viewpoint and from the "ugh goddamn it why another polycule" viewpoint. Honestly, I'd seen the sequel before and just figured the reveal at the end was a way to chicken out of picking a ship.
