I don't know about the game itself, it's the developer's reaction that I find amusing. Usually I see indie devs responding to the reviews themselves in some diplomatic fashion going "We're sorry the game didn't appeal to you, can you take the time to explain what you did not like about the game" or something similar instead of just bitching on twitter.

Chances are that Shammy "coincidentally" reviews the game to include that easter egg. It would be funny to see him try and write a script around a game that isn't interesting to placate his ego.

Not really, from what I remember. Most of his stories were him getting horribly injured, almost killed, or getting blackout drunk and something embarrassing happening to him. Not even the one about him getting a girl addicted to heroin was really his fault, he just broke up with a bitch and she went crazy. He did joke about someone's sister dying of cancer or something, and then it turned out to be real, but that's about the worst he did, if I remember right. It has been a while since I've listened to the old episodes, or the podcast in general.

Anyways, even less reasons to tune into the Brendan & Mandalore Surrounded By Insufferable Fags show.

Press Start Turbo might unironically be interesting, but advertising it as a podcast with "industry insiders" and then having Woolie be in Episode 2 is so funny. He could probably go over his horror stories of working in QA, but still, it's fucking Woolie, he's basically DSP but with charisma and without the e-begging. Perilous 2 taking so fucking long, after being funded by viewers, getting a sponsor and production partnership and everything is setting up some mighty expectations, which I'm sure they won't reach.

The author of the video, CJ, makes a point that the establishment are intentionally trying to misdirect people’s discussion on gaming industry in order to better suit them, which may sound like a reach but looking at the amount of things CJ presents in this video, it hard not to agree with him
