Because it's clear that a group of people are trying to force a splinter, probably so they can run a business off of it. A lot of this anti-DSP shit is monetized now and I'm suspicious that there's a deliberate effort to drive users off-site so it can be converted to a profit motive.

I could easily just do the same thing: "Wow, you guys sure are acting a lot like DSP...". It's just really gay and weak.

I have always had a big wish in my heart that this subforum would simply disappear one day--seeing it disappear recently made me think this shit was finally over with, but then it reappeared. I think you have really mischaracterized the actual users here but the concerns you have are 100% valid. DSP really isn't that interesting and any interest he held has been proven to be a fraud already. The fact a low level comcast employee burnt their future worth just to fuck with a fat livestreamer is beyond entertainment.

I think the upcoming documentary will mischaracterize this place into something it isn't, regardless of how many people he speaks to--and I caution that this will be done in an alarming fashion. You will want to be as far away from this atom bomb when it hits.

DSP is fantastically interesting, but once it ventures beyond a few years you really have to question why you're interested in him. You could literally be spending your life doing better shit with your time and getting far more money than the cottage industry of DSP detractors could ever provide. I know that I moved away from this dumb shit and found better shit in life, so you should do the same.

I can't speak for anyone else on this board, but a-logs are fags, and if they're pissing off Dear Feeder enough to consider nuking this board, they're gayer than a leather night club after dark.

I quite enjoy watching DSP with some Discord friends. It's become something of a ritual for us. When we're not hanging out and watching TIHYDPs, I come here for more obscure happenings. Personally, I think I would miss reading this stuff during my lunch break, at least when there's an interesting thing going on.

Is DSP interesting? That's a subjective opinion. I don't see what's interesting about Ethan Ralph. To me, he's just some fat guy, yet this site seems just as obsessed with that guy as DSP. To me, I find "guy sucks at video games, blames every factor but himself" a hilarious formula, because he always amazes me on how manages to fuck up even the simplest of instructions. The guy can literally read instructions on the screen out loud, but his brain doesn't process it, and then he demands his chat to spoon-feed him what he needs to do to tackle a boss that's mildly difficult for the average player.

My hope is that the board can stay regardless of the a-loggers. Do I think it's fucked up that people actively fuck with his life? Yes, but there's not really anything you nor I can do about that. If they make trolling plans here, they should be banned, obviously, but that's as far as can be done to stop people from doing it.

Aloggers were warned and banned when needed. Most would come back on a sock and get banned again for being spergs.

The people chimping out and biting the hand that feeds are the same ones they want unbanned. It's not even just a-logging Phil, it's the general animus towards myself and the broader community that makes it very difficult to find a way to handle the board.

The a-loggers got bad when Keffals was being a cunt in 2022 and many users, plus a mod (Actually), stopped coming back. The a-loggers who inhabit twitter, reddit, youtube and discord are all insufferable faggots. Though I still lurk on this forum and post occasionally, I have found other boards to watch and post. I objectively don't find Phil himself that interesting anymore but people like Doody, ChillMurray and other a-loggers are infinitely much more interesting to watch and laugh at than Phil himself.

People are trying to have a productive conversation. I haven't attacked you at all. I just want the forum to be usable like the other threads I read. People are upset because the rest of the site is attacking people in this thread who have done literally nothing wrong.

Can you please detail what you would like to be told or what solution you want to reach? You asked people to tell you what they found funny about DSP which I believe has been done already.

It's frustrating for people like me in this thread because there's seemingly no winning situation for us.
