i won't lie, the only time i ever reported someone on this site was when a guy had a gross NSFW avatar, I reported him and by the time the admin saw the report, the guy had changed his avatar and the admin yelled at me.

i am not someone who often reports things and I just automatically assumed doing it would not accomplish anything. i mean on a site like this, why would you think reporting anything other than child porn would matter? but that's my bad. i will keep it in mind for the future, if we have one.

I would argue it is, in the most obvious and strict sense. It is a subforum on the Kiwifarms.

Culturally, I don't think that is really possible. There are some people who are active elsewhere but what you're asking is people who enjoy giggling at one e-begger to go laugh at a tranny. Speaking for myself, I don't give a shit about a tranny nor do I care about posting in the more general subforums as that isn't what the Kiwifarms is about to me. The boards for lolcows is at the top for a reason. You just can't change what (rule abiding) people come to your site to do, that itself is insanity.

that said, there were a significant amount of people in the Comcast guy thread cheering him on, and I firmly believe that those people should've either been timed out or outright banned. our mods did not do that. i see that you have demodded everyone and if the mods were not acting in the way you want this site run, then yeah, that's an appropriate action to take and I hope you can find moderators that will carry out your rules better in the future. this is one of the largest subforums on the site and we had 2 active moderators, 3 at best.

Like I said, we can start ensuring that those types of retards tha commit crimes are not welcome here. If it helps, besides the permaban of the individual posting shit, we can tempban the ones that reacted positively to the post.

It's not a definitive answer to the problem, but it's a start.

Aloggers were warned and banned when needed. Most would come back on a sock and get banned again for being spergs.

For all it's worth you were a great mod, are a great person, and did a phenomenal job. I will extend to say that Proper is not your problem as he has been the voice of calm and cool heads at every turn.

As to the DSP area. I think that this forum get's a bad rap because of select users. I understand the appearance, but the board was ran on a tight ship with the mods that were there. It's the bleed over from Wingo detractors that is the problem in my opinion.

I'd report trolling plans if I ever saw them. But they're so incredibly rare that after the Comcast guy I can't think of anyone who I *should* have been reporting.

This is just as frustrating and condescending as being told to nebulously "do better" by Twitter users at this point. Yes, sometimes you have to call your Internet fwends out on their stupid shit. The general perspective from the outside is that many of the DSP fanbase are nuts and want to watch Phil die a slow and painful death in the town square. Don't go after Josh, go after the faggots. Phil's new year resolution of not personally attacking or raging out at his opponents in SF6 lasted right up until his first opponent last night and the toxicity continued for every opponent over the course of 2 hours.

Been catching up on this RE Zero playthrough as well and I thought it would be just another retreading of a past game to undo previous failures but this has someone ended up even worse it's fucking shocking how bad he's been.

the problem is i did not know I had the power to do this. as I stated, the mods of this subforum were not banning people cheering Comcast guy on, so why would I report them? i thought the report would just go to the mods, who already weren't doing anything.

I know my answer will not be helpful but I'm just going to give my personal take on this.

But I just don't think integration for most DSP regulars to other parts of the website, isn't really going to happen. Because, in my opinion, most just really only have interest in DSP and the immediate sphere around him as others might be introduced, like Derich, and maybe Wings and Boogie to see how they're going to trash on DSP on the next episode of their lolcast.

Now of course I could be wrong(and retarded) because I'm just not really as part of the whole thing as I once was. But this is just what I think is the case.

Now if you can pull this off then kudos because I do think the farms have a lot of gems for laughs, like my obvious other favorites like Amberlynn and CookingwithJack.

The a-logging increased considerably when a bunch of former wingsofredemption a-loggers moved over to DSP. One of the biggest Phil youtuber's, Doody, was a former Wings troll who tried to gayops Wings and has been attempting to gayops Phil. That nigger is somehow now the biggest dsp youtuber where he just puts out low effort content. Any NORMAL person who hears his voice would shut it off but he has a fucking fanbase. Those fans are mostly dents who, in turn, come here to shit up the board. Now it's not all of them but a good majority of the good posters have since jumped ship which leads us to where we are now.
