Definitely one of the last remaining places that still has that Web 1.0 feel. It isn't because Kiwi Farms itself was particularly unique or special at the outset, but it's because everywhere else has turned phenomenally gay. Like a rock column formed by erosion, it is one of the last remaining bastions of the old internet, which used to be an actual mountain before the torrential downpour of bullshit came.
Between ESG, DEI, trust and safety divisions, financial institutions and advertisers debanking and divesting from quality sites and content, the death of forums and the centralization of conversation into monopolistic social media giants, and those social media giants subsequently being forced into a milquetoast urban liberal Overton Window mold at the behest of armies of behavioral science NGOs and glowniggers trying to cybernetically control society and culture with automated, algorithmic propaganda mechanisms, the internet has never been shittier.
Liberty and freedom of speech on the internet cannot be surrendered. They need to be actively fought for, against the rising tide of censorious, communitarian fuckfaces and their limp-dicked monoculture.
