You know there's this bit in The screwtape letters by C.S. Lewis that I often think about when I think of Kevin. You see Screwtape is expounding on the concept of the faustian bargain, and he says that while in theory, Hell is absolutely fine with giving a man the world in exchange for his soul, It's far better form to take a man's soul and give him absolutely nothing in return, ideally making him miserable in the process. The example of this given by Lewis is a man who went to hell for laziness and the man remarks that in retrospect he did neither what he should have, nor what he liked to, and doesn't that just sound like Kevin?
