It's not impossible, but it seems too clever for Phil. Most of his schemes just involve saying something without ever presenting proof/thinking about how easy it is for people to debunk. Usually, the most effort he'll put forward is waving around a blank piece of paper. It's possible Mike asked something like "Well, what are the things people say about your wife/family," and Phil floundered when he couldn't answer. But again, lack of evidence has never stopped Phil before.

I'm leaning towards this might be an attempt to cash in on Khet. Before she moved in, he was hyping up doing streams with her, so it seems like something he always wanted to do, and it's a low effort way to bring in money. It can be surprisingly tricky to try and figure out what Phil is thinking sometimes, because you really have to toss aside anything resembling common sense and logic.

I agree with you that the primary reason he did it was for money, secondary he wanted to be the one that revealed her and by doing so controlled the situation of the reveal, it is just that he frequently brought up that she refused to go on stream because of what detractors said about her first appearance and now that Clum makes a documentary about it, he will use that for people who dont know him and the detractors as a way of showing how "disturbed" and "evil" his detractors are, he likes playing the victim.

DSP isn't some Ted Bundy-esque charismatic manipulator who has "trapped" her over the years in the Snortfort.
They met in late 2017.
She flew willingly out to him multiple times.
She moved in a month after they started "dating".
They married a year after she moved in.
Khet wasn't nearly as fat when they married.
She works 15 hours a week.
Has her own money to spend on whatever she wants (probably Doordash).
She can let herself go and doesn't need to exercise because DSP doesn't give a damn about how she looks.
She even doesn't need to satisfy Phil sexually because he probably can't get it up anymore.

My point being:
She chose to stay with Phillam and get married to that greasy fuck.
Like someone said earlier, she is living the "dream Neet life".

Some questions on the stream who supported this were the times when she was asked about her hairstyle and about Jasper.
She said she likes her hair shorter because it is easier to maintain.
Likewise she said they got a cat instead of a dog because cats are easier to take care of (they take care of themselves pretty much).

This makes me think that she isn't "being abused or taken advantage of" but simply a lazy bitch who enjoys letting herself go and who doesn't want to take care of anytihng.

She's someone who isn't the fastest learner, but is capable of learning. Since she's gotten a golden pass with Phil, she's done absolutely nothing to try and improve her lifestyle. We know Phil isn't the one calling the shots in the relationship, he can't even get Khet to waddle out of the house with him on their day off, and whenever he talks about them hanging out, they're clearly doing what she wants. And just in general, Phil is a giant pussy, especially with in-person confrontations.

If it comes out that she really was trying to go to school or take other steps to improve her life and Phil was stopping those, then I'd probably change my tune, but as it stands now, she's just living out her dreams of being a hambeast.

I dunno whether Phil is or isn’t calling the shots in the relationship. He’s clearly talking over her and controlling when she’s on stream, but that’s HIS domain, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he lets her do whatever off camera.

I think that was the intention of this, like Clum being a marketing guy with his own marketing company probably told phil he needs to soften his image up. I can see that, what came off as "blink if you need help" could have just been here not giving a shit about it and just rolling with the punches as phil tries to be excited giving basically "mmmhmmm" answers
