The worse part isn't that Kat gets a shitty haircut at Cut and Curls nor that she's thickened up but that Phil seemly treats her like shit. She can't even get a word edgewise on him. That question in particular was funny because he first asks if she’s okay with answering since it’s personal, then went on to say “we don’t want any” went from a personal question to speaking for her in the blink of an eye lol

He treated Leanna the same way. Watch any old vlog, feasting with the king, or other video she was in. Whenever she speaks Phil cuts her off or completely ignores what she was talking about and goes on his own tangents. DSP never deserved either Khet or Leanna and it's fucking sad how he picked them up from his fanbase because they didn't know better and didn't have many alternatives.

Leanna managed to get away but I think Khet has resigned herself to this life.

Well i hope Kat actually becomes a regular in his streams, i really get the feeling shes going through the same mental degradation Phil has been suffering from (thats what happens when you live with a nutcase), being on stream will speed up her insanity just like it happened to him.

edit: is funny how the last years with Leanna, when she was maturing MACHOORING, she did try to get Phil to act like an adult if only because she didnt want to spend the rest of her life with a perpetual manchild.
But he didnt allow Panda to bring him up to her level, and instead found Kat, who was a woman he could bring down to his level... Theres something poetic about that.

This is why when people call for Phil's demise don't realize it's been happening in real time, slowly. Look at his life, his wife, his future people really don't realize Karma (or fuck around and find out) is slow and a lot more funny than a disastrous downfall that happens all at once. It's not impossible, but it seems too clever for Phil. Most of his schemes just involve saying something without ever presenting proof/thinking about how easy it is for people to debunk. Usually, the most effort he'll put forward is waving around a blank piece of paper. It's possible Mike asked something like "Well, what are the things people say about your wife/family," and Phil floundered when he couldn't answer. But again, lack of evidence has never stopped Phil before.

I'm leaning towards this might be an attempt to cash in on Khet. Before she moved in, he was hyping up doing streams with her, so it seems like something he always wanted to do, and it's a low effort way to bring in money. It can be surprisingly tricky to try and figure out what Phil is thinking sometimes, because you really have to toss aside anything resembling common sense and logic.

I agree with you that the primary reason he did it was for money, secondary he wanted to be the one that revealed her and by doing so controlled the situation of the reveal, it is just that he frequently brought up that she refused to go on stream because of what detractors said about her first appearance and now that Clum makes a documentary about it, he will use that for people who dont know him and the detractors as a way of showing how "disturbed" and "evil" his detractors are, he likes playing the victim.
