Did the State Department, or anyone in the government, ever even talk about him? About trying to assist him? Did Coach or his people ever mention seeking assistance from them, or Chile?

IIRC he was asked about at one or two State Dept press conferences and the most they would say was they were aware of him and were monitoring the situation. I just did a search of the thread for 'Kirby' (State Dept spokesman who gives the briefings) but it didn't return any hits. I'm pretty sure those instances were mentioned here with clips when they happened since this is the only place I would've been made aware of them.Did the State Department, or anyone in the government, ever even talk about him? It's actually a special military operation. It also the case of, “what did you expect, it’s a war.”
It's actually a special military operation.
Gay conspiracy time:
>CRP's dad and Tucker Carlson conspire together to get attention by faking CRP's death with fake note
>release info
>Ukrainian gov says "alright well everyone's already mad at us and this guy is annoying as hell so now we have an excuse to kill him"
>kills him
OR
>CRP's dad and Tucker Carlson conspire together to get attention by faking CRP's death with fake note
>release info
>Ukrainian gov not sure what to make of this
>attention hungry trans weirdo Ashton-Castillo hates CRP, wants attention, and is "on leave" in South America or something and independently goes and makes that video
>Ukrainian gov not sure what to make of this either
Even if anyone at the State Department wanted to get him out, he shot himself in the ass by taking the Russians' side when the US is staunchly pro-Ukrainian. They will not miss him.I didn't realise americans were so animated and supportive of your government rescuing any American from their own retardation abroad. A 70 year old man who smokes 2 packs a day dying of pneumonia in an eastern european prison (famous for TB and other lung issues) is hardly him being executed by ISIS.
Its not like he was black bagged and remember that he had about 5 chances to avoid this. He stayed in a warzone, he spread propaganda against his host nation in wartime, after being arrested and charged he was given pre-trial bail but then he violated his bail by trying to flee the country and was remanded. Unless you think Ukraine is obligated to give him extra special medical treatment and an extra comfy cell above normal prisoners just because he was nominally American (despite hating american and wishing every day the American economy would collapse) then his imprisonment was legally normal as far as any criminal in the west. The US has let their own citizens serve their sentences in ally nations before like Jack Edema or US soldiers held in Afghan prisons for war crimes.
Gonzo probably bought into memes about Russia too hard so figured Russia taking over would be an improvement. Think his wife took off for Poland first chance she got, decent sign she could read the room and realize how shit the situation in Ukraine was getting.Could Putin possibly have had a hook in CRP?
I'm only asking because I still can't quite understand how a man that's a fairly successful businessman/grifter could be this retarded.
I understand that he thought the Russians would take Kharkiv early on, but after that? Why didn't he flee? He could have been shitposting outside of the country and it's not like he ever left the safety of his hotell anway?
By the way what about his family? Didn't he get an Ukranian wife? Didn't he have children there? I Have these faint recollections of this from watching various videos about and from him.
What happened to them?
GONZALO LIRA RIP
Cartoon published 01/14/2024
Gonzalo Lira died in a Ukrainian dungeon after suffering torture and receiving inadequate medical treatment.
An American journalist, Lira was in Ukraine to report the truth about the war. For that he was arrested and imprisoned. The US State Department did nothing to help him. Biden ignored him. The tyrant Zelensky showed no mercy because he had been criticized by Lira. The left claims Zelensky is a modern-day Churchill. Nope. He’s a two-bit Stalin.
Adding to the disgrace, the corporate propaganda media all but ignored Lira’s predicament. To be sure, the media was all in a tither when Saudi Arabia executed a Saudi citizen and dissident journalist named Jamal Khashoggi, who had written a few articles for The Washington Post. The media had their dander up about that because it enabled them to blame President Trump. Will Biden receive any blame for failing to aid Lira, who was tortured and left to die? Of course not.
Gonzalo Lira Sr. had this to say:
“The responsibility of this tragedy belongs to the dictator Zelensky with the concurrence of a senile American President, Joe Biden. My pain is unbearable. The world must know what is going on in Ukraine with that inhuman dictator Zelensky.”
When you hear someone say that Zelensky is protecting ‘democracy,’ remind them of Gonzalo Lira.

That was quite an exceptional case, especially considering that Paul Whelan was supposed to be the one exchanged. As far as we can tell, he's still rotting in a Russian prison somewhere.America released “the merchant” of death back to Russia in exchange for a lesbian retard WNBA player who was stupid enough to bring weed to a foreign country that doesn’t allow it. A country has a duty to its citizens,
Presumably, the fact that he died is a fuckup on their part since they should have checked on his health. However they are not obliged to get him out of jail.(...)
- While in Ukraine, U.S. citizens are subject to Ukrainian laws and the Ukrainian judicial system, which differ from those in the United States. U.S. citizens can be sued, tried, fined, or sentenced in Ukrainian courts. The Ukrainian government takes its laws and regulations seriously, perhaps even more so when a foreigner is involved.
A U.S. passport does not entitle the bearer to any special privileges or preferential treatment. Neither the United States Government nor its representatives, such as U.S. Consular Officers, can get incarcerated U.S. citizens out of jail or prison. The U.S. Citizen Services (ACS) Unit of the U.S. Embassy plays a protective role for U.S. citizens detained in Ukraine in ensuring that their fundamental human rights are respected and basic needs are met. One of the main goals of ACS is to protect imprisoned U.S. citizens from any mistreatment from the side of both cellmates and prison authorities.
Followed by 12 paragraphs describing just how awful the prisons are. So seemingly the US State Dept. already knows that Ukrainian prisons are shit.Prison and detention center conditions remained poor, did not meet international standards, and at times posed a serious threat to the life and health of prisoners. Physical abuse, lack of proper medical care and nutrition, poor sanitation, and lack of adequate light were persistent problems.
I dunno, man. The way I see it, it's more like was strolling casually across a busy highway. Yeah, it takes balls to do that, but it's also so fucking retarded that you can't feel bad for the guy when what happens happens. I follow a fair share of pro-Russian commentators, and do you know the single attribute that they all share that CRP didn't have? The basic common sense not to do what they do in Ukraine. It's not like he was stuck there; he could have driven over the border with Poland or gone to the US embassy and been evacuated.Disregarding your stances on everything, I have to give Coach credit where credit is due. He decided to put himself in harm's way for our amusement and indulge himself in levels of suicidal retardation in ways not even the boys from Jackass had the balls to do.
Think of it this way: Coach died as a based retard, wheras Kraut gets to live with his split Wiener. Coach sacrificed his life to provide us the ultimate Coach Kino experience, wheras @Bryan Dunn gets to live as @Bryan Dunn.
What makes the basketball player the exception rather than the precedent? That was quite an exceptional case, especially considering that Paul Whelan was supposed to be the one exchanged. As far as we can tell, he's still rotting in a Russian prison somewhere.
If the US State Dept. won't save a former Marine who was allegedly spying for them, I don't see why the vlogger is going to get any help.
Evidence would suggest that the former Marine and the vlogger did not, in fact, get any help. I don't think we should be surprised by this.Without any evidence to support your assertion, we might as well rearrange your conclusion like this: If the US State Dept. will save a basketball player who was allegedly smoking dope, I don't see why the former Mariner and the vlogger arent going to get any help.
No I get that, Im just asking why he was so fucking stupid and stayed in Ukraine when it was clear the offensive had failed. It was obvious the war was turning into a slughmatch, even to him. Yet he stayed in Ukraine like some sacrificial pawn talking shit, waiting to be raided.Gonzo probably bought into memes about Russia too hard so figured Russia taking over would be an improvement. Think his wife took off for Poland first chance she got, decent sign she could read the room and realize how shit the situation in Ukraine was getting.
