It's a shitty pleading but not defective in any procedural way I can see, and I'm sure the fact that it's pro se will prompt the court to give them a bit of leeway over that sort of thing anyway. Slander is usually pretty tough to prove, but I'm also pretty sure publicly posting "X is a pedophile!" is one of the few things that's hard to deny doing intentionally. You never say something like that publicly "by accident," nor is there ever any reason to say it publicly except to ruin someone's reputation.

Yeah glad they admitted it wasn't a legit court filing, as yet anyway from what they are saying. They could have mentioned that it is to be filed/draft or whatever when they originally showed the doc pages, but kudos on using an amusing court number I guess. Their post with the pages of the doc was specifically directed at Chance and they said it was a "courtesy" copy. A named defendant in a lawsuit does not require a "courtesy" copy as they have been or will be served with a copy of the pleading in any event. So yeah, they just posted it for laughs or for the attention.

I think personally though it would have just been better to file it, get it served on the defendants and see if the idiot who still hasn't learned to stay off the internet would shoot off about it on video. That would have been funnier I think than giving him a heads up that they are going to file a lawsuit, if they do go through with it. Like, what ever happened to the element of surprise?

Once they did serve him and the old lady, if Chance didn't make a video to tell the internet more private stuff involving not only him but the old crone who doesn't look after him, then the plaintiffs could have revealed what they did and gloated about it and coerced a video out of him.

I don't know, that's just how I would have played it, file and serve without mentioning it and let nature take its course and see what transpired as a result. It will be interesting to see if they actually do go through with filing this lawsuit or if it all was just a troll to begin with. Knowing they read this thread, if they do file make sure a court filed copy is shown when they inevitably post/brag about it. That will save on the constant checking the court search engine to see if they proceed.
