I wonder how effectively that will play out. We have 2 wars in the middle east with both sides chimping out daily. 'Intellectuals' and 'experts' may write op-eds about 'muh ukraine democracy' on the daily but zoomers and the general public care more about sandpeople. I feel like the Putin puppet theory won't work this round.

It's hard to know because I can't grasp how a large number of people don't know anything but have concrete opinions they consider to be absolutely true. So my general cynicism makes me think they could just run the hacked election, Russia puppet, Pee tape narrative again and people will be back on board. There's been no official recognition to the people that fell for it that it was bullshit. They just got distracted by other narratives. I have to think when people like Vivek call the press out and they just remain silent, is because they want to keep those narratives in the back pocket.

The fortifying the election and now fortifying the US military from Trump as President narratives are already spinning up. The former is insane. They're outright reporting the US military is going to not be under civilian (democract) control if Trump wins. This is telling as it shows how little power Biden and other Presidents have over the Military Industrial Complex. They're the one in charge. They're telling us they're having a coup if Trump wins. I do see a general theme being that Democracy is on the ballot, yet everything is preparing for the end of Democracy to actually be them ending Democracy to not accept a Trump victory.

Of course this started under Trump when he was trying to get out of Syria and they were misleading the administration about what forces were their, the size and what they were doing. Something that should have been a massive scandal, but because it served the establishment. It was ignored.

TBH my opinion is its a horrendous trench warfare quagmire and neither side is remotely close to bringing it to a conclusion. If the US forces jewlensky to give up (which trump de facto seems to be saying he will do) and basically accept white peace then it could probably end tomorrow.

If this was a serious country and Blumpf was the strongman he is portrayed as he would of had the border patrol (the only red blooded patriotic federal force left) surround the Pentagon and FBI and mass arrested them. Then arrested any press who bitched about it. Hung the traitors then tried to return to normalcy.

Grant is going far back but between the "left" deconstructing everything socially and culturally and the "right" selling everything that's left to the highest bidder I'd say at least since the 60's.

God Imagine working for a western corporation writing a corporate charter , like for something such as Nestlé that had thousands of babies starve over their baby formula in Africa or wanted to privatize peoples water. "WE are a corporation that takes social and environmental responsibility very highly".... How can anyone even do this with a straight face?

Ukraine is to issue war bonds secured by future reparations from Russia. The US doesn't need congress approval to buy other countries' bonds, so the entire emission will be snatched up by the US treasury.

Zelensky WILL get his money by hook or by crook.
