Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Copying it here from the A&H because Biden and Zelensky came up with a solution for the dwindling money problem.

Ukraine is to issue war bonds secured by future reparations from Russia. The US doesn't need congress approval to buy other countries' bonds, so the entire emission will be snatched up by the US treasury.

Zelensky WILL get his money by hook or by crook.
oh my sides are in orbit. they will implode faster then nfts

Ze German economy shrank further by 0.3% in 2023, outlook for 2024 is zero growth. A further sharp decline in construction is expected, and the existing budget issues are forcing Ze German government to cut spending. Households are also further fucked and in 2023 have spend less than in 2022 by 0.7%, and this is by all indications to continue in 2024.

Rest of the EU ain't doing rosy either btw.

Edit

On a side note there's been friendly fire incident in Rostov. On of the Russian SAM systems downed a A-50 and damaging a Il-22, which managed to get to an airport. The A-50 is a lost with the whole crew.

Yep confirmed by multiple sources and fighterbomber got a picture of the Il-22 tail after it landed

Awful Friendly fire incident and it took out one of about 10 operational A-50 AWACS. The replacement A-100 is years late and of the two on order only one is going to be operational in the next few months.

Possibly the most dumbest thing is that Biden knows he is basically buying dust, but because he and his cabinet are autistically determined to have things their way in terms of Russia they will spend tax money on it anyways.

Maybe Nafoids were right after all. They have their own Fellowship of the Ring now. Halflings included.

There was an article on the BBC earlier about Ukraine having shot down a Russian plane. Is this a case of disputing who shot it down or is this two separate incidents?

Todd is famous for writing a book predicting the USSRs collapse ~10 years before it fell.
Which is impressive how? Any Uncle Tolya, drunken milling operator without 3 fingers, could tell you that ~10 year before it collapsed cause signs were so obvious only a blind man couldnt see them. Now if he predicts something better like brazil becoming a superpower or hawaiian insurgency with the conquest of oceania then we will talk.

Russian TGs that were previously caught hyping up shit that has never happened say friendly fire
Fixed.

Not like we would get an official denial/confirmation.
Original claim came from ukrops and then it spread to Russian telegram. So far I haven't seen anything beyond that one photo with shredded tail that was taken who knows when or where. Fighter bomber is not a channel I personally trust, got caught spreading bs several times. I'm not convinced.

Todd was a French Communist who at 25 years old wrote something that predicted the fall of the Soviet Union based on the idea that Eastern European states like Hungary, Czechoslovakia and East Germany were surpassing the Soviet Union economically and in the development of communist societies. His thesis was that while the Soviet Union was failing, that Eastern European communism was thriving.

Because he was in France, he was lauded as a genius for predicting the fall of the Soviet Union while the other parts of his thesis were completely forgotten. In spite of being an idiot, he was appointed a public intellectual for life in France and the world has had his opinions inflicted on it ever since.

The 9/11 incident in 2001 made him fall in love with Islam. He wrote "Convergence of Civilizations" in 2007 which made a case for how Islam was converging with western civilization and that Islam was just great because it would provide a bulwark for socialism in the west. After the Charlie Hebado protests in 2015, he called the protests against Islamic terrorism racist and reactionary.

Not just bit-by-bit. A high school classmate of my dad sent a fully-automatic AK-47 home from Vietnam hidden inside of a Sanyo compact refrigerator.
Are you sure it was it wasn't an AKM or Type 56 (Chinese copy of AKM)?
The original AK-47 (machined parts) is actually very rare and a collector's item today.

whenever I end up in the other thread by accident, I feel like I literally opened the frontpage of reddit, it's that fucking bad and delusional

krautland is slowly running out of money, and shit is getting worse and worse, so people are getting more and more pissed if money is dumped into some conflict most don't give a shit about anyway.
I am in Germany right now and there are Bundeswehr recruitment ads everywhere.
There is talk of reinstating conscription (Wehrpflicht) to account for the lack of recruits.
I howl with laughter at how the west has destroyed all semblance of patriotism and now they wonder why they can't recruit any soldiers.

MEFO bills again?

(((zelensky))) really wants more cocaine, doesn't he.

Are you sure it was an actually blue on blue accident and not a traitor within the ranks?
It seems awfully convenient that it just happened to destroy one of Russia's few AWACS planes.
It would not be the first time that the SBU has hired traitors, knowing and unknowing, within Russia.

It is the bbc. They're about as trustworthy as ukrop media themselves.
It is probably another separate incident (which likely never occurred or maybe the Russian aircraft sustained damage but made it home).

Todd is famous for writing a book predicting the USSRs collapse ~10 years before it fell.
The French have produced a few prophets in recent decades.
Monsieur Jean Raspail is one which comes to mind.

In other news, ukrops have no more ammunition, mainly artillery shells but also small arms.
And unlike the new MEFO bills, there is no way to fix the problem, as the west is opening up a new front in Yemen and they don't have any more ammunition to spare.
The west closed down or downsized their defense industry after the Cold War and focused on precision weapons and high technology, not remember that a true peer to peer war consumes vast quantities of ammunition that they can no longer produce.

It’s a tragic friendly fire incident.
Fighter bomber is not a channel I personally trust, got caught spreading bs several times. I'm not convinced.
Like I said, we'll probably never know. It's war. Shit happens.

It does speak to the lack of overall Ukrainian success that the destruction of a single plane has caused such a celebration on social media. It's a plane.

Who would lend money on the basis that the borrower will pay you back by beating Russia in a war?

Ukraine is already in default on its foreign debt. Its already almost universally understood that their current bonds will be paid back at pennies to the dollar. Issuing more bad bonds doesn't matter much at this point. Its only a matter of finding people corrupt enough or foolish enough to purchase the new bonds.

The con in the reparations bonds is that they will be secured by Russian foreign assets held by the west. They will also be sold at a massive discount to that debt ensuring on paper remarkable rates of return. The catch is of course that Ukraine doesn't hold those assets, its legally uncertain if Ukraine will get those assets directly and it would not be obligated to pay the bonds with that it even if it were given all of it.

Another possibility (a strong one) is that the western financial institutions who are holding Ukrainian debt will use these "new" bonds to ensure that they don't lose any money on the old Ukrainian bonds when they default. That the US government will use these new bonds as a justification to compensate blackrock and pimco and so on from seized Russian assets after the financial collapse of Ukraine.

The assumption here is that Russia loses this war, which is not going to happen given the current situation.
What are they going to do when the ukrops finally collapse?
Sell (((zelensky))) to the highest bidder?

Seizing Russian assets aboard will severely damage any trust in the western banking system, especially since this proves their willingness to freeze/seize the money of the average citizen if they do not obey the (((globalhomo))). (This happened in Canada in the aftermath of the Freedom Convoy and it will happen again.)

I wonder if you met the type of Eastern European male who moved to Germany and talks endless shit about the country he grew up in yet. You'd think these men would be fiercely loyal to their new and improved Vaterland and rally to defend it. I know quite a few of these types with Ukrainian flags in their bios and they'd rather swim to Ireland.
