So I got curious in how reading those racisms in their intimate group chat affected Frenchie's behavior towards Radplaid at the time it happened. Can't spend hours on this, so I only focused on the period of mid to late summer of last year. A time when Frenchie was fully aware of these comments made by Radplaid.


There were many superchats, many interactions and many laughs. These are just a few I got from the transcripts I searched.

there was a small group chat serving as a hug box for Frenchie going through tough times
- Rad had racist incidents in said group chat in summer... and Frenchie has been distancing herself from Rad since then
- not really, now she's saying she was actually pretending like nothing happened, she played dumb and gave Rad enough rope
- they last spoke a few days ago... and Frenchie was still giving her chances

The "beaner" incidents happened back in July and August, which is when I assume the n-word got used as well, but Frenchie only unmodded Rad a week ago, and had to unmod everybody and wait to how Rad would react before making it permanent. And during the last five months, Rad was singling out people in chat to torment just because she felt like it, openly abusing her status as a mod, while Frenchie ignored her victims' complaints. Rad was also allegedly temperamental and easily offended within the hugbox, and prone to going off on people who disagreed with her, so members were actively avoiding her.

How much fucking rope did Frenchie need in order to let Rad hang herself? For fuck's sake, she should have been gone months ago. There were plenty of uncalled-for incidents, any one of which should have been enough to 86 her, but Frenchie just couldn't do it for—reasons? I'm surprised she didn't moo about "needing closure," in order to justify waiting forever and trying to provoke an angry reaction.

I've come to assume that anybody with a reaction channel is no more than half a step away from becoming a full-blown cow themselves, and Frenchie's proving my point. And she's a basket case who admits she's mentally in such a bad spot that she hates doing lives now? Bitch, you're the only one torturing yourself.

I'm definitely going to hell for laughing as hard as I did when I read this superchat.

Patricia's got to be about 80 years old, and must have nobody else to talk to if she's dropping news of her husband's death in the chat for a livestreamer whose sole purpose is mocking another fatty for profit.

The regulars in Frenchie's chat have got to be a broken and socially isolated bunch, and unsophisticated enough to not recognize that their parasocial, financially-driven relationship with Frenchie has its limits. Which means that Frenchie can keep mentioning her pain over her mom's death on-stream, but anybody else who has suffered a similarly hard emotional blow is "trauma dumping," and gets scolded for it, even when they're a lonely old lady who has just been widowed after 55 years.

Finally, Chantal returns to Canada. While Chantal is in Canada, FFG can provide Canada-specific context (e.g., healthcare, the law, geography, etc.) Then, Kaibella drops the texts. FFG goes to Cornwall. Chantal returns to Kuwait. (And this is not to say that Chantal wouldn't have returned to Kuwait anyway, but bear with me.)

No reactor (not even Milk Tea) has any Kuwait insight (i.e., "lived experience"). On top of that, there's nothing to react to: Chantal's content has become truly bland. Even Pulpy, one of the more superficially "nice" reactors, has been more aggressive/sour since Chantal returned to Kuwait. (It's amazing how many reaction channels feel Chantal owes their channel entertainment value.)

Will the audience stick around for another year of Kuwait? I would argue Gorl World has more to lose with a content dry-spell than Chantal does. (Of course, this also assumes Chantal doesn't have another meltdown. Let me have my thought experiment.)

FFG happens to be the most prominent reactor; the gorl world rage has to go somewhere. If not Chantal, why not FFG? She's right that Gorl World always needs to be mad at somebody. And along with her prominence, the notion (rightly or wrongly) that she's partly responsible for this situation.

was directed at my post above and/or other comments of dismay at your behavior of late: No one reasonable would expect you to be over your grief at 4 months.

However. Everyone reasonable would not expect you to read out suicide threats/ideation/planning to your livestream audience. That is irresponsible and not something that people dealing healthily with grief do. You know this.
