I mean at 17 you should be able to understand the repercussions of begging a troll site to dox you, and also the retardedness of begging your followers for it to be taken down after they fufill your wishes
That is a pretty liberal mindset, considering this is a website where we make fun of people in their mid 30's/early 40's for being just as retarded.
Conservative wise, depends on how 17 the fella is, if he's 17.999999 years old (you sick fuck) then less of an issue, if he is just turned 17 or mid 17, sorry to say, but because he is a US citizen, that counts as a minor, and unless you are a minor yourself, it is highly recommended not to interact with this individual in a positive or negative light, just observe and document.
It is the kind of technicality that can make a big difference if interpretated a certain way, and it would be smarter to hold off on it until the kid turns 18 to really act on.
But in my country the age of legality is 14/15/16! I should be able to harass and dox anyone I want! That's a fair argument, but it really depends on your location and location of the person. If you are targeting a US citizen, even if they are 17.9999999 years old (You sick fuck) it is an action against a minor. If you are a US citizen targeting a 16 year old in France, the same application applies because you are a US citizen targeting what would be a minor in your country.
Where the rule gets more bent is when you are in a country where the age of minority is lower. If you are a mid 20, mid 30's German citizen (Aham dulallah) harassing a 16 year old also in Germany, then there is less of an issue. I'm not saying take down the dox, or to stop; just bringing light that it may be interpretated by outside viewers as an attack on a minor, regardless of personal semantics.
Honestly, it is up to the forum staff here to figure out what to do with it. There have probably been instances where they've allowed the doxes of technically minors here for justification XYZ.
