SJW Art and Extremes

It makes me feel bad because there are a lot of amazing artists who barely receive any attention (and the same thing happens to me), but garbage like this gets 20k likes and over 200 fanarts. I'm done.

I know it's a struggle, but try to understand that getting likes and momentum on sites like tumblr, twitter, and IG is a game based on consistency and quantity, not quality. Someone who posts 1 mediocre sketch per day is going to get a lot more exposure than a person who posts 2-3 finished pieces a month, because frequent uploads are just what teh algoreism rewards. (Also just from a logistical standpoint, cast a bigger net, catch more fish.) Hopping on bandwagon trends also reinforces this concept. It's also worth mentioning that different audiences exist for different 'kinds' of art and it is more beneficial for you to develop a dedicated fanbase and distinct style than to chase clout.

There's a ton of different answers depending on who you ask, but it's funny to think that the 'chuds' they're always pissing and shitting about here can be of any gender and sexuality; They just don't know it and are actually pissed that we're paying attention to their art, but not mindlessly consooming it.
