That's the most narcissistic thing I've ever heard.it’s not that I’m not good enough, it’s just that they’re luckier than I am.
It's literally a cope that means "I should be as famous as them by merit, but they just were in the right place at the right time."
I think of a great example of how egotism and narcissism can be differentiated.
In 1996, Triple H was going to be the winner of the King of the Ring tournament, which was WWE's way of announcing the new talent that was going to get a push.
Triple H got in trouble with the company for breaking the unwritten rules of wrestling storytelling during an event called "The Curtain Call" where the heels and the faces embraced each other in the ring.
So a few weeks before the show, Stone Cold Steve Austin replaced Triple H.
Thats where Stone Cold came up with "Austin 3:16" and "That's the bottom line, cause Stone Cold Said So", which ended up selling a million T-shirts and ultimately ushering in the Attitude era, which resulted in good things for the entire company, as the company itself needed it.
Triple H recalled that he felt like "that should've been me" when he saw the show, but he followed up that egotistical statement by saying "but I wouldn't have cut that promo".
That alone to me shows that while the man truly thought that he should be top tier talent, he recognized talent in other people. He recognized achievement. To put this into perspective, Triple H is now in an upper management position, with more power than he could have imagined over the entire company, and Austin 3:16 shirts are still sold in big quantities to this day. Both men prospered in the end.
Anisa doesn't have that. She doesn't know talent. She doesn't share. She doesn't want the tide to rise all ships because she might drown.
You can tell because look at her terrible Creator Clash booking. Look at her rejecting Sam being on the card, or help from Keemstar. She can't let other people shine without her, even if its good for them.

This reminds me of the Arrested Development bit where Tobias is constantly saying gay things so Michael tells him he should record himself.Anisa continues to imply that they couldn't do Bad Unboxing today because she thinks people will send Ian pipe bombs in the mail or something.
Tobias of course rejects this comically because his character refuses to accept that he is gay. But Tobias the analyst/therapist that he is turns the tables on Michael. He tells Michael that he should record himself because everything he seems to say is based in fear.
Anisa should record herself talking and listen. That's all I hear from her all the time is that she can't do something because shes afraid.
She can't box because she might get permanent brain damage from her concussions.
She can't have Sam on the card because it might be a business risk.
She can't have Ian do bad unboxing because people might send a pipe bomb.
She can't talk regularly because someone might clip it.
The woman is completely afraid of everything, and this makes sense because we fear the unknown and she clearly doesn't know a shit ton. Like say...
I will never understand the leftists that support Islamic/Arabic causes, not realizing that Islam is intolerant of the LGB, and only accepts the T. Or that Islam believes that non-believers are infidels and deserve to be punished for rejecting god.“He’s pro Palestine but he’s alt right and hates trans people so he’s a grifter(? what)”
She says this in front of a bunch of tarot cards, which is divination, which is haram.
She says this with a bunch of tattoos which are haram.
She says this with an onlyfans account which is haram.
She says this while talking trash about other people, which is haram.
She says this while denigrating her husband and embarassing him which is haram.
She says this while being prideful and full of contempt instead of submitting to her husband which is haram.
Yet the pro palestine guy is the grifter, and not the woman who brings up her islamic background because everyone thinks shes just another karen.
It's like when political people think that if they bring a bunch of hispanics into America, somehow they won't bring their Catholicism or traditions with them, just because the left is offering them money and college or something.
Not realizing of course, the only reason why those groups would vote blue is because otherwise they'd be kicked out of the entire country.
Look at her face when Idubbbz does an autistic voice to be funny. You can see the fear. "is that going to offend someone? Oh god I'm going to get in trouble with social media".

I legit don't think she liked ANYTHING he did.
So many have paid to see what you think you're getting for free
The woman is wild, a she-cat tamed by the purr of a Jaguar
Money's the matter
If you're in it for love, you ain't gonna get too far
(Oh-oh, here she comes)
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
(Oh-oh, here she comes)
She's a maneater
(Oh-oh, here she comes)
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
(Oh-oh, here she comes)
She's a maneater
I wouldn't if I were you
I know what she can do
She's deadly, man
She could really rip your world apart
Mind over matter
Ooh, the beauty is there but a beast is in the heart.
(funny song to quote because Daryl Hall once said he had the best voice in rock and roll, which is narcy as fuck considering singers like Robert Plant, Steve Perry, Ann Wilson, or Stevie Nicks)
