Wow, the crazy, autistic, litigious bastard actually did it. However fleeting, inconsequential and minor it is, this is actually a "win" for Silly Bitchell. Admittedly, I was wrong earlier though when I figured that there'd be no statements or revisions of substance.
Funnily enough, TG, BM himself, and anyone else who's familiar with the quirks of retro games and emulation vs actual hardware would know that the "degradation of original components" excuse that is used to prop up his flimsy case for having his records stand is bullshit, since it's been proven that MAME emulation loads the DK levels the exact same way that is shown in his submission video every single time. Now, *MAYBE* there is a one in a quadrillion chance that a degraded capacitor could cause a slight voltage fluctuation on an IC chip that could cause the one video he submitted to load every level in the exact same way that every MAME emulation game of DK does, but I would rather place bets on Jimmy Hoffa, the Pope, and Keffals joining Null in a nondescript Midwestern town and hammering out world peace over the finest charcuterie board of locally sourced artesianal cheese than that happening.
The funny thing is though, however minor or autistic his lol-suits and 40+year career of "fame" over these old games is, he is/was actually good at these old games, for what it's worth. I do remember seeing a response video he did a while back, it might have been DK or Pac-Man, he specifically took his score to 1,000,000 points and then let it game over, just to prove a point. It makes me wonder what he'd accomplish if he would actually focus his time and effort on something more substantial and worthwhile than 40+year old game high score records?
