yeah coddling the fish sucks. None of these fish could handle a 10th of the TTS that would play in season 1. Dungay ironically benefits cause I think he's one of the few that the TTS just rags and rags on him and he fights back.

my issue is not with the 4chan thread itself, it was jet crying about the kiwifarms while sucking up to the tv board despite the tv board doing CSAM to hurt sam hyde and we just.... talk bout the show and sometimes make fun of jet or have actual constructive criticism of the show.
It's actually insane Jet has such a strong preference for the /tv/ threads. The times I went over there to check them out there was Marky infographics being posted, someone doxed the house (I thought that was our thing guys?) just a few days in, people bringing up Jet's past and family. I guess it's because he was a tripfag so he just likes 4chan better?
I suspect it is because criticisms on /tv/ can be dismissed as "those dang trolls/bots/marky spammers". While with here you see continuous discussion with the same people sharing their thoughts over time so it can't be dismissed the way negativity from /tv/ can.
Because despite whatever qualms they have, Sam and Jet know that their main audience is primarily 4chan posters. Twitter is just mindless sycophants, the fishtank reddit is tiny, and this thread only has maybe 15 regular posters. They know that if they don’t appeal to them that the show just won’t be as big. Both seasons of fishtank gave /tv/ a massive increase on posters while it was running. If the mods decided to nuke the threads there’s no way the show would be as big. Like I mentioned, the vast majority of the oc for fishtank come from 4chan and is then reposted elsewhere. The Irony is that the 4chan audience has done more damage to the show than anywhere else. They were the ones who first doxxed the house and are pretty much always the first people to dig up dirt on contestants. Despite KF’s reputation, pretty much all of the doxxing has come from 4chan.
