Because they can't comprehend that DeSantis is terrible. CNN and other biased news sources were hyping DeSantis up as the next big thing, but anyone who didn't listen to the propaganda knew the truth. But Desantis fans only watch propaganda so they are shocked that voters aren't conforming to their interpretation of reality. But they're a dying breed, like Comcast subscribers.

Little off-topic, but I tried to get Comcast back in college because the place I was living didn't have internet and I ended up on the phone trying to buy from them and they're arguing with me. Like they just assumed I called to complain. So, I went with AT&T or Spectrum or something.

Sounds pretty par for the course for them. So used to dealing with complaints that they don't even expect customers anymore.

They're in the coping stage of grief right now. Most of their whining boils down to "handing the election to Biden" even though Trump has consistently been more competitive against Biden in polling than Desantis.

That's why I don't study terrible tropical astrology. It's only Sidereal for me.

There's a thread on the vocal online sorts cheering for DeSantis in Community Watch. The first couple of posts are very handy explaining what sort of nutcases they are.

I didn't interact with DeSantis fans online enough to dislike them. Meatball lost me because he doesn't act like he has any balls. If someone approaches him, his wife steps in. He might be a decent governor with some good ideas, but if you go into that position without balls, you're going to get bent over backwards.

Astrologists (and occult types in general) come in several flavors. You will see the driest and most analytically autistic types reading star charts for hundreds of dollars with backgrounds in math and finance.
