At the 22 minute mark, chris goes on a tangent about isabella and the things she tried "fabricating" to get chris to end it all. The interesting part is, from what I can recall, 2 of the only times chris defers to his "notes" (alibi) and admits something strange, is during the minutes after the 22:00 mark . When he says "it happened in a very distant timeline, but not this one", is chris saying that all the things he's accused of actually happened...somewhere?

It's pretty common in someone with schizophrenia or such to have an issue with sense of self. They can have dissociative symptoms where they truly believe actions committed by them were by a double or something. It's another form of maladaptive coping and since they truly view the actions as not being their "real" self it makes it hard to get them to take accountability and learn from it.

I’m probably giving more credit than is due but I thought Keffals’s whole “oh I don’t really know the whole story” bit was fake,, he’s the biggest drama queen there is, he can’t pretend to rise above it all.
So the way he framed this question, seemed a bit cunning - ie he knew Chris would come out with a bunch of lunacy and wanted to have plausible deniability. He was just asking innocent questions, and totally not taking advantage of deranged retard.
