Before, I was not convinced that there was a systemic problem with users on the DSP subforum, their attitude towards the site, and towards lolcows. Now I am. This change is not because of Null. It's because of what I started reading here, based on facts and posts from the subforum itself, and the subsequent response to justified reactions to it above. If you cannot see any issues whatsoever with this clear-cut example of unhinged behaviour, and can only react with indignation, then log off the Internet for a while and reflect on what you are actually condoning here, because this is not healthy. Tell me your not a parent without telling me you aren't a parent. Time was fathers carried pictures of they kids in they wallet, parents are proud of having children and want the world to know; times have just changed so that anyone can look up photos on social media.

I have no problem agreeing that doxing is generally acceptable, since it's legal and so is owning a gun. But the only reason you have qualms about conceding anything is that doxing the child of the man who interviewed DSP might in some way damage or fuck with DSP, either by intimidating him directly, or by preventing people from associating with him in the future. Either one is gay. Accept it.

What's left of this subforum userbase seems happy to laugh at the little fuckups DSP does daily on his own, like being unable to play Baldur's Gate 3 without most of his stream is looking to chat for answers on how to play the game.

I see your point, but still disagree here. They were both friends with the moderators. Baby doxer appeared repeatedly on Agent Proper's monetized streams, and one of the three instances where Agent Proper was encouraging people to harass Phil in real life and vandalize his home, it was directly inspired by the fake British dude. Closeted mod was encouraging the Comcast criminal and sweeping up for baby doxer. Their questionable posts were all showered almost exclusively with praise.

I'm not saying literally every soul in the subforum is complicit, but if you choose to ignore the pathology of this pervasive issue then you can never hope to solve it. I'm glad that at least we can respectfully share our perspectives in peace now. That's one problem solved!
