Kieran didn't understand shit. He believed ogres are the good guys, but that belief was based on nothing. He's a typical Joker-worshipping incel, but in the Pokemon world. Again, it was just a coincidence that the ogre turned out to be a good guy. Kieran worshipped that monster when he had no reason to believe it wasn't a murderer. He got lucky.
Fucking nigger retard, he says why he doesn't believe the story in-game. At the third signpost when it talks about the ogre stealing souls or whatever, he says there's no stories about that actually happening, so he thinks it sounds made up. He doubts the ogre-murderer story because it's flimsy as fuck, which frankly makes him the one-IQ king in the zero-IQ village.
penny is a bitch who had no redemption arc and still no redeeming qualities. i wish she would've gotten beat down more to help convey that getting boolied is not an excuse to be a twat.
Absolutely fucking based. It's amazing also the double standard with her and Kieran. She gets bullied offscreen so she earns the right to be an asshole to everyone for all eternity; he gets bullied, it's ignored and Carmine jumps down his throat for so much as (rightly) calling her a jerk, you do bad enough to him that he finally snaps and suddenly HE's the bully for snapping at one kid and
maybe calling Drayton ex-champion offscreen, which earns him the right to be dumped by everyone on for all eternity. What the fuck.
Also can I just say I fucking hate the whole "uwu Kieran learned it's ok to lose!!" bullshit. Because that's not what he learned, what he learned was that
it's not okay for him to win, only other people can. He was perfectly okay with losing up until the player was railroaded into breaking him and giving him that complex in the first place. Then he became obsessed with winning because he'd learned that
losing means you lose things important to you. That lesson was never undone, all he was forced to learn over that was that he should just give up on expecting anything out of life, and to accept being shat on by Drayton et all for all eternity for the crime of stepping beyond his station. If they wanted him to learn it's okay to lose it would've been much better for him to see someone else accepting a loss, like Nemona, but no he just needs to be dunked on forever and always so she has to beat him.
It's about the same thing with the poison trio. Apparently they should have just accepted being dumb, weak and ugly because that's how they were born. Never have ambitions, never go beyond your designated station, stay in your caste. I don't even know how someone with that mindset ended up working for Pokemon of all fucking things. Should I not use nature mints and IV caps? Should I not be raising my Pokemon beyond the level they were caught at, evolving them, teaching them better moves, bringing out their potential? What a crock of shit.
