Because its considered racist. Soviet Romania made abortion and contraception completely illegal and surprise surprise their birth rate exploded. Nazi Germany heavily promoted women as being healthy mothers of health children. The Third Reich gave mothers who had four kids a state medal. Poland offers tax incentives and such to women who have more than 2 kids. Low interest home loans and that kind of thing.

In Hungary if you have four kids you no longer pay income taxes or something. These policies absolutely work. Russia is trying to get women out of universities and make being barefoot and pregnant something good. More promotion of Christianity and so on.

But in the West proper these are draconian and anti-feminist. So we don't do them. Better import the third world.

I'm probably not the first one to predict this but I think the rising tensions in the middle east are what is going to do Biden in and cost him the re-election bid. Right now the Biden white house is walking a very fine tight rope between supporting Israel, and thus alienating their young progressive voter base (and the arab vote, which is vital to win Michigan), OR denouncing israel in some way to please these demographics and having AIPAC sabotage his re-election bid like they did with Bush Sr.

On top of that, there are the escalating tensions with Iran, and while that myth has always existed in American politics that wartime presidents always get re-elected, I think we've gotten to the point where the exact opposite is true. This could be blamed on a litany of factors but chief amongst them is Americans are just tired of the fucking wars. Just like with Israel, Biden has to make sure that he doesn't escalate tensions with Iran to the point of all out war, but he also can't look like a pussy and make his MIC donors mad.

Unless the Biden white house pulls off a (late) christmas miracle where the war ends in the next few months, gets swept under the rug, and everyone just forgets it ever happened, I think it will be the thing that does him in.

Immigrant is a legal term in US law. When the media needs to lie with official statistics to make it look like illegal aliens are NBD, they talk about "immigrants." This is how the government defines "immigrant:"

Immigrant: Any person lawfully in the United States who is not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or person admitted under a nonimmigrant category as defined by the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) section 101(a)(15).

Any government statistic on immigrants - crime rate, welfare dependency, literacy, poverty, etc - by definition does not include illegal aliens.
