It would still be irrelevant to the war.
Both sides have a habit to do cheap propaganda about what the other is - nazis, fascists, degenerates, trannies, divorce, anal rapes, it's endless.
At the end of the day, Ukraine still needs weapons, and Russia is still able to throw a lot of resources in the fight that need to be countered, and no amount of vodka-fueled anal rapes and divorce will change that situation.

And is also successful. Probably says a lot about the populations that swallow it.
It's not OT cause this propaganda is a pretty big part of the war and a substantial reason Russia is successfully able to influence Westerners so easily.

If you can jerry-rig a Soviet aircraft from the 70's to carry NATO weapons from the 90s, you can probably do it with NATO aircraft from the same time period if not later.

Sort of. They can carry and launch, but they are gimped. The missiles operate in terminal guidance mode - that is, they care very little about WHAT launched them - but they don't operate at full effectiveness.

Yeah, countering the propaganda is always a good move when it pops up but it's not going to help on the battlefield.

In the same way, Russia's military and economic capabilities being proven to be a complete farce compared to actual global powers is great and all, but that doesn't mean they can't achieve some kind of victory in Ukraine if they throw enough resources and manpower at it. Russia is fighting Ukraine, not the US or NATO and Ukraine compared to Russia is at a major disadvantage in a war of attrition without substantial and ongoing support.

There seems to be a mindset that this is like the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan or the Vietnam War where the focus is on draining the enemy's manpower and resources by aiding the government/insurgents in a peripheral conflict irrespective of the actual outcome, not an existential war for Ukraine's very existence.

FSB is behind various telegram channels that groom and encourage teens to commit petty acts of violence and instigate gang fights. Russian propaganda that's overt never works.

It went past ad-hoc jerry-rigging to having the installations done in Western factories or by western technicians in the 60ies and 70ies. Although the options (engines, radar, electronics and etc.) were limited on a case-by-case basis of where the customer is on the "Nice" list and payment method. Post Cold War 90ies was when it went full ham with the western options. But also had the cost benefit analysis in full force so not many countries went with an extensive replacement and uprade plan for their multiple decade old WP era aircraft.

Ukraine is unique in that we and the general population are seeing how that particular sausage is being made in roughly real time. As before it would've been seen by an exponentially smaller number of people going out of their way to read it on military news and information sites.
