Crime Former teacher who mocked conservatives online over grooming accusations has been sentenced to 17 years prison for child porn - "You're f***ing acting like we want to show kids porn or something, but something I've learned through the years is that whenever right-wingers accuse others of something, it's DEFINITELY because they're projecting"

A man who worked as a teacher in Hawaii was sentenced to 17 years in prison for producing child pornography after he mocked and railed against conservatives online accusing the left of harboring pedophiles.

35-year-old Alden Bunag was convicted of distributing videos of himself having sex with a former student who was 13 years old at the time. In addition to the prison time, Bunag must pay $30,000 in restitution and serve 15 years of supervised release.

Prior to the arrest, Bunag spewed hatred against conservatives and specifically accused them of secretly being pedophiles while tossing accusations against their political opponents.

"You're f***ing acting like we want to show kids porn or something, but something I've learned through the years is that whenever right-wingers accuse others of something, it's DEFINITELY because they're projecting," he wrote in a tweet.

In another missive, he proclaimed that he was helping destroy Western civilization by "trying to tear down gender roles and subtly instill socialist values into my high schoolers and elementary kids."

He also defended the use of books extolling the LGBTQ agenda in public schools against critics who said they were inappropriately sexual.

That account has since been suspended.

Federal prosecutors said that Bunag sent more than 3,300 messages to a teacher in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, many of which contained photographs and videos of child pornography. That teacher was arrested in October.

He worked as a summer school teacher at Pearl City High School and also at other schools in Hawaii. He identified himself as a socialist on social media.

“Bunag’s sentence reflects the horrendous nature of the crimes he committed, including against a child for whom the classroom became a place of torture rather than learning and nurturing,” read a statement from U.S. attorney Clare E. Connors.

Bunag is also facing charges for sex with a minor, and a plea deal is expected in that case as well.

Here's more about the conviction:

Can we give him his Twitter back while he's in prison? I want to see the reactions when he posts.

I just reread it. He was sentenced for PRODUCING it. Either the charge name is broad or he was filming kids.

The worst thing about all these cases is almost nobody hears about this shit. It's easy for us to laugh and cajole but most the people here are awake and recognize the patterns. I don't think the gen pop is close to where we're at yet and idk if they'll be there anytime soon.

He's going to have some fun.

I interviewed for a job at Halawa Correctional Facility, where he's going to be staying. Chomos and other similar cases (basically, the elderly/disabled, non-violent mentally ill, PCs, etc) get their own area, but the entire place is a shithole more like the third world. Broken pipes with water and green slime running down the walls of flickering dim dirt-encrusted hallways, the smell of mold, dusty ancient ACs and rank sweat... and this was on the office side of the building I was interviewing in.

On the prisoner side, they're sleeping 4-5 in cells meant for 2-3 people. If you're low on the totem pole, your head is on a stained mattress inches away from the grimy metal commode where everyone in the cell shits and pisses in. It's a playground for staph infections and pulmonary disease.

I remember seeing the tweet where it was announced that he was arrested.

It must be the salt from the ocean air corroding all the metal.
Say, did you hear back from the prison yet?

I know this is going to sound very, very un-Christian of me. But may he suffer terribly, die a slow, horrible death, and afterwards, burn in the lowest level of hell for the rest of eternity.
You know, if he was not going to prison, I would reckon that he would have a shot at Canadian politics.
After all, our current PM did the same thing and look at him now, ruining the whole country from the top down.

Mooooooooooooooooooooom, the thing that never happens happened again!
