I hope Mike got what he needed or wanted out of Phil but I'm sure he will still make the documentary just with less Phil involvement. I doubt there was an NDA saying Mike couldn't use footage of the Snort Fort.

This whole prestream has to be like bottom 5 all time. This is historic levels of trash. For a half an hour this guy ranted on and on, repeating the same info about the documentary over and over. "It won't be like the boogie doc, my life isn't sad." "It's not going to be a drama doc, it'll be fun." etc etc. He literally said word for word "when the documentary gets released"... WHEN?! And then after all that, he said he's not doing it! Like not even television programs can waste your time that effectively. Pigga really hyped up a documentary for 30 minutes, that he was LITERALLY CANCELLING IN THE SAME STREAM. Can't make this shit up

Edit: and I have to mention my favorite part of the stream. "I can't do the documentary guys I'm sooooo busy, not just with dspgaming, but now my new channel dspthrowbacks"...... Bros. I. I don't know what to say tbh. wow just wow. Not only did DSP "pay" creatives with """"exposure"""" in the past, now he doesn't even give them that. Not only does he not give them any exposure for their work, but he claims it all for himself. Maybe because I work in a creative field this pisses me off more than most, but to me this is a sign of a genuinely bad person. Not only will you get paid nothing, not only will you not receive a shout-out, but your hard work will all be credited to DSP and why he's so fucking "busy". Icky stuff man, need to take a shower

People went with the story and got the whole thing even featured without vetting the information beforehand.

Well, it turned out that the whole thing was fabricated and the screenshot of the messages was doctored.

Who is to say that "Dan Greene" didn't do the same thing after Dave told the whole Comcast story on the prestream?

Agree to disagree. I see where you are going but the counter argument is that DSP cooked up the whole thing for cash. In the same breath he is too stupid to restart his modem to fix his stream.

It's more likely that some low level employee fucked with DSP than he is playing 4d chess.

I wish Mike would or could drop some info tidbits if he had any.

I’m betting pignosis failed, Dave saw that Mike wasn’t doing a fluff piece and that he’d be talking to too many detractors and hit the eject button. Just my autistic theories here, but I wonder if this is the point that DSP realized that no one legitimately likes him because of how shitty of a person he actually is. Surely there’s gotta be a “look in the mirror” moment for everyone, no matter how stupid you are.

Then again, this is Phil…so it’s the trolls that are to blame and he did nothing wrong, just had to protect his fat steed and declawed son.

Or maybe Mike asked for some bank statements and pushed too hard about his Hogan addiction? I dunno, but I feel like there was a singularity catalyst moment where something spooked him into thinking this doc would do more harm to him than good (and it would, because he’s a begging piece of shit).

Wild theory time: Mike interviews either Phil's parents or someone from DSP's past. They reveal some inconvenient truths about Phil. Phil gets told of this by Mike. Phil goes nuts and screams and whines (hence why he "wasn't feeling good" the other night) and ultimately decides to pull the plug after blaming DAH TROLLS for said inconvenient truths.

Or, Mike saw TJ's tweets and inquired of Phil.

Some people on Twitter are wondering if the opposite might have happened: that is, if Mike got ahold of Phil's parents and, over the course of interviewing them, disclosed to them some truths about Phil and his life situation they may have been misled or not have known about. Not sure what the evidence is one way or the other, but it is an interesting thought...

I'm sure I heard him say "final straw" or "straw that broke the camel's back" today. Sorry I can't find it right now, but I know the idea of your post is that he didn't tell the truth anyway.
