Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

Tay-Tay defending plagiarism? Makes ya wonder if she's ever copied anything. How would the Washington Compost react to one of their journalists being caught doing that?
If she stole stuff wouldn't it be less shit?

Or does she make it so shit literally nobody will read it to find out she stole it?

Taylor writes something:

The article isn't really worth reading, it's just about some moral panic whipped up against Substack, a platform that progressives don't like because they're not heavy on content moderation. The actual funny part to me is this:
Though Newton follows other writers including crypto chronicler Molly White and online culture writer Ryan Broderick, in leaving the platform...
If you don't know who Ryan Broderick is, he was fired from Buzzfeed for years and years of plagiarism and just plain old making shit up. Goes unmentioned in the article, he even gets an image in the article and a promotion through a link to his newsletter. Plagiarism, making shit up and revealing your sources are the three unforgivable sins in journalism, but because he has the right 'progressive' opinions and hates Musk he still gets taken seriously by hacks like Taylor. I guess I'm not saying anything new, but Taylor is just one of those people who can stomach being massive hypocrites to achieve their goals.

(The extra irony here is that no real publication would ever hire Broderick for anything anymore, but because Substack doesn't moderate content he can continue his shitty writing and still make money).

And if you don't know who Molly White is, she has her own (somewhat anemic) thread:

People just won't listen to Tay Tay.

Why does she care? Why is this one shitposter possibly lying such a big deal?

Actually I think I know. It's probably desperation to have ANYTHING to claim as a win after taking so many Ls. Except granny here is too moronic to understand how to do her job and so deep into globohomo indoctrination she cannot even consider learning something new.

Kiwi Farms member jsingal69 reported on this, how Platformer found SIX examples (five of which Substack banned and none of which were monetized) and then claimed that making this number known in their reporting rather than making it seem like thousands of examples making millions would have put them in danger: https://jessesingal.substack.com/p/platformers-reporting-on-substacks

All these Nazi stacks taking over had like a combined 100 readers and 0 subscriptions :story:

The CDC declared the pandemic over back in May. Why does this illiterate redneck cunt refuse to Trust the Science? Must be a Trumper.
She just wants to be the center of attention and she figures screaming about how people are literally killing her by not continuing to mask up is a good look, granted, she's trying to couch it in language that, to her mind, makes her look like a good person with her fake care about the poor disabled that we're killing too. Instead, of course, it just makes her look like an unhinged self-absorbed narcissist.

I mentioned this in another thread: narcissists are people who can't understand that other people aren't always thinking of them and their needs.

The CDC might have declared the pandemic over, but we still should be thinking about the vulnerable and think twice before we do anything because we can endanger them, and by them, she means herself: "I wanna go to the beach, that's fun... but Taylor Lorenz could be there, so I better wear my mask and take another shot so I won't become a danger to her sake..."

She's done believing this thing should be enforced: she now believes we should make it out of a moral obligation. Peak narcissism.

If you ever have to interact with Taylor, either run or casually mention you have tuberculosis.
Or say to her, "Wow, your face is really... do you need to see a dentist or a doctor or something?" Refuse to elaborate further. Then cough and mention you feel like you're coming down with something.
