DSP was spooked by something. He talked about having some "behind the scenes" issues earlier in the week. From my understanding is Mike was early in the process, had one meeting with Phil (Did Phil sign an NDA at that point?, Mike wanted me to sign one if I was going to be interviewed.), Mike for the last few weeks was reaching out to anyone and everyone from Phil's past. (FGC guys, His Family, he reached out to Panda, and John Rambo, and Phil's biggest fans like Jayde and Derich.)

My guess is Mike talked to people close to Phil and they asked Phil if there was truth to Mike's statements. I'm waiting for Mike's statement before I wonder if he is going to make the film about Phil or not.

Who could've predicted this? Totally shocked that DSP would once again back out on his word. He always has some nebulous "thing" going on in the background that he wont tell you about but rest assured it's big and it's key to understanding why he can't do the documentary. And it's not like he wasn't warned either. Gundam asked him what his plan was when Phil backed out. and he thought it'd be fine just have faith, Phill will pull through he's great! I wouldn't be surprised if he canceled because of the foreign memberships. Everything is about money and he can't do meet ups for documentary and play WWE champions without that membership money.

And what the fuck does he mean he has to figure out how to play co-op games with Kat? He's done co-op playthroughs plenty of times with other people before. Kat gets on discord and you play a fucking game, it's not rocket science. Play games on the couch, get a better chair for the next time she's on stream. There's nothing to figure out you just do it. But guys plugging in a pc and cables is so hard!

Maybe it’s been mentioned or my dates are off…but there’s some big correlation between him wanting to do this doc and his throwback channel. He seems pretty desperate for other income avenues. I always hesitate to call people stupid…but surely he didn’t think this doc was bringing positive publicity or expanding his reach?

I am surprised, I did not expect Phil to be selfaware enough to see this comming. I expected a Sidescrollers 2.0, especially now with the return of Fet Khet. Anyway, I hope Mike is doing it anyway and if not, I had a lot of fun with DSP this year. Viva Argentina! Viva Milei!

PS: It's a nice thing to see Dear Leader taking part in his unwanted step child's life. I know you think most of us are annoying one-trick-cows with no connection to the rest of the bord, but for many of us this is not the truth.

We know he loves the fact that people from his past who he did not end up on good terms with are less active today on the internet and may be talking about him.

I find it interesting that he started talking about a personal issue behind the scenes a week or so ago and this issue was a contributing factor in canceling the documentary.

I wouldn't put it past Phil to get spooked, come up with a fake personal issue and use it to back out of the documentary.

The Throwback channel is simply that he found a hard drive with his old junk and saw he could get more memberships. View counts are already abysmal there. And now since memberships are fucked, that channel may as well be dead again.

I thought the whole reason for doing the Clumcumentary was for Phil to tell HIS side of the story and “get a chance to respond” to the trolls. Now he can’t do it because hypothetical fans might get hypothetically doxed and hypothetically harassed because they might hypothetically defend him by the same trolls he’s looking to respond to?

Even his mods like Kekon, AnonyMouse, BeTheBaby, Madara—hell, even Vidar—were all exposed as degenerates and weirdos but nobody fucked with them in their personal life.

But all of that’s irrelevant anyway because his fans HAVE been doxed in the past and he hasn’t said anything about it. His fans have been exposed in the past and he hasn’t said anything about it. All of this morally grandstanding from him and false concern is just him covering up the fact that he’s scared of his ego being hurt.

Mike asked me if I had any contact information, during that conversation he was able to track down what he needed on his own. I guess is if he is talking to everyone from Phil's fan Derich all the way to allegedly talking to people at Scopely. I sure Mike made his rounds.

I think there are a couple of things in play here;

1) When he heard Mike say that he had the final say *alert body damage, pull up*
2) No one was showing up to support him, even his parents probably. I don't think his parents wanted involvement personally.
3) The narrative on the Khet reveal, I think he was banking on it making him seem normal and ugghhh loveable but it made him look honestly kind of abusive. Shit like that is really hard to circumvent.
4) Finally I think his "stressful issue" is TAHXES unironically, his back taxes debt is enormous and at a limit and if the champions stuff is true then we know he is paying minimal payments meaning interest is accruing at 1% per month until fully paid. Once you have reached your limit on back taxes you have to pay the amount owed in full. The April bill would be quite sizeable and the IRS could initiate an audit if failed to pay. I think the reason is he does not want footage of his lifestyle etc put up as evidence that can be used.

However what is evident is Phil seems extra hellbent on money lately because he has been dipping into his Youtube cheque.

One thing I've learned from Phil is that he doesn't do things for other people. Just for himself. When he quit the documentary, he did it for a reason that concerned him. The bullshit excuses about others being harassed is just high school drama class level nonsense. Performative caring.

He didn't care about people calling his wife a fat whore when it meant he'd get $300, he didn't care about airing out her past abuse and restraining order, and he doesn't give a single fuck about his memberships unless he gets paid for them. This got exposed not even a week ago.

When he quit - he quit for Phil, not anyone else.

If that’s the case, then that makes him better than most of todays long form “video essay” documentarians on YouTube. I’d rather be patient and hear from the true source than from DSP’s paypigs about how he still can’t handle the tiniest of constructive criticism.
