I think Phil's a bad subject for the next documentary anyway. I hope that Mike will switch gears, but he seems determined to cover this boring retard.

Yo, you think he contacted Viscant about their scheduled fist fight that Phil bitched out of?He also mentioned old Street Fighter drama, maybe he contacted Jaha.
Wings, could offer a similar to Phil experience. There's Cobes who actively is drinking himself to death, Cyraxx could bring in the views as well.I think Phil's a bad subject for the next documentary anyway. I hope that Mike will switch gears, but he seems determined to cover this boring retard.
I hope so, that was always a funny story.Yo, you think he contacted Viscant about their scheduled fist fight that Phil bitched out of?
The corner demon demanded Phil to pull out of the documentary.View attachment 5651558

“There’s this OTHER thing behind the scenes, that JUST happened the other day, and maybe I’ll tell you about it, maybe I eventually will, and it’s a HUGE determining factor and it JUST happened.”
Fucking Christ dude, just say you don’t want to do the documentary.
If Mike Clum's strategy is to be super nice to his documentary subjects and not release anything if they get cold feet, he will have to get a lot more intelligent about his chosen partners or this won't be the last time he's left out in the cold with nothing to show for months of work. I hope he hasn't spent much money on this for his sake, but I guess it's funnier if he did.
Who could've predicted this? Totally shocked that DSP would once again back out on his word. He always has some nebulous "thing" going on in the background that he wont tell you about but rest assured it's big and it's key to understanding why he can't do the documentary. And it's not like he wasn't warned either. Gundam asked him what his plan was when Phil backed out. and he thought it'd be fine just have faith, Phill will pull through he's great! I wouldn't be surprised if he canceled because of the foreign memberships. Everything is about money and he can't do meet ups for documentary and play WWE champions without that membership money.
And what the fuck does he mean he has to figure out how to play co-op games with Kat? He's done co-op playthroughs plenty of times with other people before. Kat gets on discord and you play a fucking game, it's not rocket science. Play games on the couch, get a better chair for the next time she's on stream. There's nothing to figure out you just do it. But guys plugging in a pc and cables is so hard!
I did some cursory research and what DSP said about Mike is correct. He owns a very successful mature adult marketing business and he is getting into documentaries. I am sure Mike has seen his share of difficult clients in the past and has the business acumen and emotional intelligence to remain professional at all times. If that’s the case, then that makes him better than most of todays long form “video essay” documentarians on YouTube. I’d rather be patient and hear from the true source than from DSP’s paypigs about how he still can’t handle the tiniest of constructive criticism.
I think he is still desperate to both have a redemption arc and to get a bigger fanbase, but then probably realized after Derich told him about the Boogie interview that more of his closet skeletons would be exposed again. Most of us were shocked DSP would even cooperate on a doc. I guess this is just fate realigning to our predictions in the end.
Most likely. He could in theory put some warning label at the beginning like "Unfortunately during the production Phil Burnell quit the cooperation so you will get information that couldn't be verified by himself. Please take this into consideration" or some other layer speak to free him from repercussions. But then again the big draw was that he actually visited Phil and I doubt he can actually use that footage if he even recorded some of that.If you're hoping he'll just do the docu without DSP, that's probably unlikely. He's so early into his work that if he starts doing pieces that are hostile, he'd lose access, which was the big selling point in his Boogie documentary. Basically, he has to make videos that the subjects think are fair in order for people featured in future work to feel safe with him in their space.
Tbh, that's a good reason to cancel it.Mike for the last few weeks was reaching out to anyone and everyone from Phil's past. (FGC guys, His Family, he reached out to Panda, and John Rambo, and Phil's biggest fans like Jayde and Derich.)
