The site is fucked and won't let me upload images right now but I was looking through the list of AVGN episodes wikipedia and it makes it apparent the peak of the golden age was 2007 to 2008. In the span of a single year James put out: Ghostbusters, Bugs Bunnys birthday blowout, Spiderman, Sega CD, Silver Surfer, The Simpsons, The Nintendo power retrospective, Texas Chainsaw massacre and Atari porn it was just nonstop gold.

Racing games have to be the worst genre to watch played online. Classic Game Reviews started doing them all the time and that was the end. Incredibly he's been back making new stuff again too after 2 or 3 years off, if anyone cares. He's average around 5k views per video, so I doubt he'll bother much longer.

I vote hard that he is a cow. Classic Nerd is great, but I first noticed him mooing around 2013 when he decided the AVGN Movie was serious business.

I do think an AVGN updated OP is warranted. Haven't kept tabs on that sphere in years, so it's hard to understand the discussions about "Bimmy", "5:40", what happened with the guys from screen wave, and the most recent stuff.

The AVGN lore also has some interesting that should be elaborated more for new viewers. Like the weird comics Mike made, The guy from popular Gabe Newell skit being a literal pedo, the fallout of Bootsy from Board James, Rolfe's book where he states he might be on the spectrum, and a few other notable moments in the AVGN lore.

Also, I'm surprised Rolfe just hasn't shaved his head like Nostalgia Critic did and own it. Could make it a plot point in a AVGN episode. Don't think NC been dogged on being bald much since he did it. Honestly forgot he used to have hair.

Ian looks so much worse. Last time I saw him was a few years ago but here, he looks like a fat, old hobo compared to how he looked last I saw him. Pat still looks like the same but his hair is no longer as dark as it once was and has started to grey

That grey beard sure dont help him. But Ian has always looked miserable, he have always looked (and sounded) like he is tired of life and just want it to end as soon as possible.

There have been times i enjoyed some of their podcast discussions, but they both have personalities that just grinds you down and wants to get away after a while. Pat is smug as fuck and Ian as i said...he just seem so miserable.
