It may have seemingly worked on the others, as Tay chose to zero out TJ rather than him
TJ is a stronger opponent than Shinji. In a pure physical and mental exertion competition Tay can probably match or beat Shinji, TJ would beat her in almost every other event because he revealed himself to be a decent singer, capable of doing character voices, and isn't a slouch at comedy stuff. Shinji being ESL means he can barely manage stuff aside from physical events, his comedy stuff is limited to shouting and saying "OBAMNA" "SOAP". Tay has obviously been paying attention to their skillsets and TJ has a far wider range than Shinji. Also there is basically zero Shinji can do at this point to harass or fuck with people. Tay is basically immune to harassment at this point and all of her possessions are destroyed so he has nothing to attack, and TJ is largely resistant to petty attacks by this point. Shinji has missed all the windows of opportunity to grind Tay and TJ down.

Shinji may end up getting eliminated because he fucking hates Fatty so much and may refuse to entertain him to get himself out of last place in "chris points" which seems to be the marker for elimination ~today.~

Greg was the Simon of season 2, he provided a jolt of energy/comedy when the show needed it.

Summer might genuinely be too unstable to properly sue them unless she gets some lawyer that does all of the heavy lifting pro bono. What she really needs is to log off - her Kofi page had like 10 updates a day on it from what I could see. I actually think using a real casting agency might get them a better mix of people who are both more interesting and don't know who Sam Hyde is.

I agree, Shinji seems as likely as Trisha to be eliminated today.
Shinji's probably a little further ahead than Trisha considering he had a better idea what he wants to do with himself by the finale; Chris Points are probably gonna be bullshit, they've been flip-flopping with them so much that it'd be bullshit for them not to be a gaslight. If he does make it though, now's the time for action, lest he ends up losing near the finish line like Vance did. This is actually shaping up weirdly similarly to him, since it also seems like Shinji's already all but gotten an invite to help with season 3.

All in all as far as predictions go, I don't see much of a scenario at this point where Trish or TJ win. If Shinji takes too long and gets kicked out, Tay's pretty much guaranteed to win.

Every Passing Day it becomes more difficult to care

Previous Endorsement Stats are linked below

(As always, Please play this song while reading the stats for full effect or not if you don't like mario party)

So at last we're at the home stretch with the final days upon us! How are the rankings looking for our final four contestants?!? Stats as of 1/21/24 12:30PM EST

Shinji Neutral.png
1st Shinji- 10638 -
First place is Shinji with an unbreakable lead! A crowd favorite who seems to be running out of fuel as time passes! Will he be able to maintain his energy and stay the crowd favorite? (truth be told a good number of watchers who voted for him probably bailed on the site and thus he just kept all those votes, maybe have endorsements expire for non-concurrent viewers, or require that viewers re-endorse every day yeah?)

TJ Neutral.png
2nd LubeCooch - 7371 -
TJ staying true to his number 2 status, being everyone's 2nd hand man. But will bending the knee to women and following TTS/production instructions be enough for him to bring home the gold?

1704950769450.png
3rd Tayleigh- 5793 -
Cringe, Pickme, Dyke, Trans, and content driver (depending on who you ask). Tay has proved that no amount of labels will drag her down as she does what it takes to win! Quite a polarizing contestant indeed. Will her drive be enough to win over the hearts of the audience AND win the game?!?

Trish Neutral.png
Trish - 1801 - At a solid dead last for the past couple of weeks. Trisha has had her moments here and there but has also been timid when it comes to rising to the occasion! Will she learn to get over it and snatch victory from the clutches of defeat?????

Some Lucky viewers have been asked for their thoughts on who will win! Here's their predictions!!!

I agree, we all thought Shinji was this season's Josie but it's looking like he's going to be this season's Vance. Personally, that's what I hope happens. I like Shinji, he's funny and entertaining, but I want to see someone who has struggled more win. I think he would make a good crew member/freeloader next season, even with the language barrier. He's not stupid, he goes along with bits, and he can follow instructions, so I think he would do well as crew the way Josie and Vance have. Put him in a ninja costume and have him steal people's shit in the middle of the night or something, I don't know. A Tay-TJ finale would be the best and most climactic because they both feel like they've earned it the most and tried the hardest (although Trish and Shinji have also put in a lot of work). In a Tay vs TJ finale, either one of them winning is satisfying. I want Tay to win, but I would be happy with a TJ win because it would also feel earned, even though he's not my favorite. A Shinji win, as charismatic as he is, would not be satisfying.

Last season, Vance was my favorite contestant, but even then I didn't want him to win because it wouldn't have made for the best finale.

Supposedly Greg is supposed to leave today, and maybe Alex. He is been such a strange individual that didn't really add much to the show except be a target of bullying from Sam and the fish.

Completely disagree about Greg. His fights were incredibly entertaining and his super autistic demeanour and innocence added to the show. Like I said earlier in the thread he is exactly what a fish should be he basically had no idea what fishtank was.

Greg is one of the things that make Fishtank great. Only in a non-mainstream show unbound by modern TV rules and structure could you get a weirdo to come on a show for a small, dumb bit, intending for him to leave in a few hours, and have the flexibility to turn that into making him box 2 people, stay for 8 days, and become an unexpected, memorable hero character. The lack of structure and planning on Fishtank is a double edged sword - for every moment production fucks up or doesn't execute properly, another one is created unexpectedly that they run with and turn into something great.

I went from day 1 of Greg being there thinking he was just a cringy guy bombing a comedy bit to unironically rooting for him in his fights and posting GREGTANK LET'S FUCKING GO GREG that's how much his character arc (or whatever you want to call it) moved me.

They need to make Tay wear a wig, I keep mistaking her for TJ for a second.

Or they should make Shinji shave his head so we'll have 3 bald fish.

edit: I decided to check on Jimmy to see what he's up to. Yesterday he uploaded a video called "Woman moment" which features clips of Trish. He says in the description that Trish sucks at picking allies. He's still seething about her ""betrayal"". What's funny is all the comments have turned on him, in his previous videos he has a lot of support, on this one, they're calling him an incel and a loser etc.

It’s just hair and will probably get her to the final two.
She was already in the final two. It shows she has no self respect and has learned nothing.
Tay is the only fish left who's still willing to compete and you faggots keep calling her a pickme for bothering to compete in a COMPETITION. Shinji has been a ghost for the past 3 or 4 days, Trish has been eliminated in all but word for 2 weeks, TJ is currently overthinking how to paint a fucking wall. Kill yourselves now you don't deserve a show to watch at this point
She isn't competing. Rather the opposite. She soyjacked out in the attic and shaved her head unprompted. It's embarrassing and off putting. Whenever given a choice she makes the wrong one.

Going with a casting agency to secure more legitimate reality tv type contestants was inevitable. As pissed as they were about Cole and Meg leaving, I think Summer and Jimmy are what nailed that down just from the liability. MDE fan convention was an awful direction anyway. Part of me likes the rawness of having authentic, autistic retards but I have faith they will be able to secure similar and more competent retards through a casting agency if they want to.

I really don't want it to go the stereotypical trashy reality tv contestant direction, not for more than a few fish, but I don't think it has to even be that way unless they want it to; I can't even imagine the more abnormal, bottom-of-the-barrell people waiting that have never been chosen to be on anything. People that have been trying to get on Survivor or Big Brother or any of the other MTV slop for years or even a decade, maybe two. I think there are some real freaks waiting.

My issue is it seems like Jet and Sam may embrace the full roster of stereotypical trashy contestant route since they've been so neurotic about the sex ratio and kisstank and attractive girls and Brian's jawline and shipping stuff this season in a really off-putting, inorganic way. It could still be fun to see some of those types expecting a full-on, competent, fair, competitive reality tv show get beat down by what is Fishtank but I hope they alao step back and consider everything people have liked about seasons 1 and 2, hopefully the more real and organic stuff not forced bits.

I won't get into learning from the other mistakes made this season like having no planning, schedule, no clear rules and consistency, contigency plans, veil of professionalism, gaslighting the fish into apathy, etc. Those things would help massively but have been covered thoroughly.

A good example of how production fucking up can make the show funnier is the Star Wars lore retelling challenge they're doing right now. They aren't making the other fish leave the room during each retelling, so whoever goes last has a massive advantage. It's such an obvious thing to do that it makes me laugh that they didn't think of it.

Edit: It probably won't matter though because out of the four, the only one who didn't know anything about the Star Wars plot was Trish, and she had to go first.
