Surprising no one after he shit on the Canadian government, Sean Strickland lost his fight last night from the judges who scored it for the South African, the same people who "count the votes punches" doing something very similar to another guy who says mean things. People can't even argue Du Plessis won, just that it's karma for Strickland harassing the gay leafsucker.

The only people that actually watch old dinosaur media are boomers that don't browse the internet at all or often.

Everything that get's posted on this site or online in general, the fucking news on TV winds up reporting the next day/2/3 etc... days later. They can't fucking compete, and when they try, whatever topic they are talking about winds up being irrelevant because everyone else has moved on to the next thing.

There are things I've known about for weeks that my parents are just NOW going "OMG, REALLY?!?! THATS CRAZY!!!"

The worst is people - especially family - who dismiss you as crazy or ignorant when you point something out, but then later repeat exactly what you said back to you as if it's a new revelation, simply because they heard it on the news. Ask them to remember when you tried to bring it up weeks, or even days earlier, and all they can do is insist that you never said it. That you must be mistaken, or that you clearly misunderstood what you were talking about and the news has the real truth.

That’s why every time I discuss news I send links along. There were some family members and in laws who tried to pull that shit but after a couple of times sending links along, they no longer say that. But even boomer family members these days gets everything online, only a couple feel like they need to see it on tv to confirm.

Uh what? You absolutely can argue Du Plessis won that fight. It was an extremely close fight and Du Plessis put a lot of pressure on Strickland. It's reasonable to argue for a draw or for the fight to go either way, but to say it's clearly a robbery is goofy.
