A case in point would be the Nadolsky thing where Pat tried to sue over someone feloniously having a drink at Hoolie's. Arguably (a weak argument granted), while you need no reason to have a drink at a public establishment, there really isn't much purpose of deliberately telling Fatty you're doing it. It's to annoy him. I don't think it comes up to the legal definition of "annoy" in a harassment statute, which excludes protected behavior, but whatever.

Pat showed up and was a giant asshole. Nadolsky was basically sorry we're here, I was being an idiot. Guess who won?

In a case that trivial, if the judge is going to bother making any decision at all, it's who was the asshole. If you make that decision easy, you're the one who loses.

EXACTLY THIS. I love that audio so much because you really get to see how Patrick comes off when compared to reasonable non-egotistic people even if they're dastardly trolls. The judge called pat on so much bullshit that I honestly think the judge was really nice to give Nadolski a warning to never contact pat again at the end, which you know anyhow is mostly just trying to make sure the court's time isn't further wasted with this gay internet nonsense.

If pat had been more like nadolski (which means not bringing it to court in the first place I guess) he could have maybe gotten away with more but instead he has to "no child" the judge and immediately after demands an appeal. Judge probably has dealt with and could sniff smug losers like pat who think the legal system is their weapon to punish people they have some petty issue with from a mile away. Patrick should have been on his knees thanking the judge for considering punishing big dick andrew if he reached out again cause pat should have realized that's really the best he could have hoped for in the first place.

Nadolski won everything the moment he came in with that humble attitude. Being able to set aside your pride and admit when you fucked up goes a long way generally speaking something pat has never learned to do ever and it is why he will always lose.

BDA came in and did the exact opposite. He was downright sheepish: "Yeah I drank a bit what I did wasn't smart and I'm sorry this is wasting the court's time" and accepted the judgement not to contact pat again. Pat should have read the room and realized the judge was NOT interested in this ill prepared frivolous nonsense but if pat could read a room (or read a book) he would have never been in that position in the first place.
