Endorsement counters should be reset every day with a daily incentive of receiving a minimal amount of free tokens for keeping up endorsement streaks.

Honestly the wiggers would do better to keep people from going to re-streamers if they just did some weird f2p thing where you build xp but you get actual tokens per level. That and earn tokens through doing daily tasks that matter to website engagement.
I doubt they'd ever make it you could get tokens, and thus TTS, for free. They've shown they want to monetise this like a gacha game pretty unapologetically.

I mean monetizing it like a gacha would entail pretty much what I said in the post you were quoting lol. They'll have to give something eventually. The XP bonuses are pretty much worthless. Honestly I don't think they'll have much to lose, it would encourage new viewers to have a chance to interact with the show. At the least free to watchers would be able to vote in polls. I think it opens the door to them making more money in the long run.

What nakes you say that? It sure looks like she's still making them good money, especially compsred to most of the rest.
I meant that we've confirmed that at least one of the accounts that's spending money on her is secretly production. Now there's no way to know how many of the TTSs / toys she's receiving are real, but we do know that there's little enough that they decided to fake it instead of using one of the production accounts.

Gatcha games typically give you stuff to start with, and a trickle of just enough to play for free, then to remain competitive or play for very long at a time you have to spend. They have something like this with the daily XP rewards like a gatcha, but the XP doesn't actually let you vote or send TTSs.

I thought it was funny at first but it became old quick having Jimmy run to different rooms just to be like "LOL there actually are no dolls!" and it was clear half way through that Jimmy was just playing along, he didn't actually believe there was "doll activity". I think this could have actually been interesting if Jet would have taken a few minutes to do something. Like maybe go to a thrift store, buy some busted up dolls, and hide them when the fish are distracted or asleep. Make them think the dolls are worth something that causes them to fight and hoard doll parts, just to reveal later it's worthless. Or maybe create a mini mission where the first fish to have all the doll parts needed to make a completed doll wins $500 or something. Anything besides "lol tricked you, there are no dolls!"
I believed that the dolls were actually hidden in the walls at the time and they were trying to see if Jimmy would be unhinged enough to open the walls to look for them. Jet and Wigger Co. ruined the bit by stopping Jimmy from tearing apart the walls for "his safety." It was still hilarious in the moment for me.

I'm late to the whole discussion about this, but I don't really mind the "Chris points are real and important", "Oh wait not really, there's also Oliver Dollars now alright?", "'Hold on actually Greg Bucks is a thing now, and you will get eliminated based on your Chris Points amount, and you can convert to Oliver Dollars". In my opinion, it keeps the contestants on edge and makes them be more proactive, even if it is all for nothing in the end. I want them to lie to the participants and then go back on that and then another time because, to me, that is what essentially Fishtank is all about, something you would have extreme difficulty seeing in mainstream media, convoluted rules, eliminating people out of nowhere, weird people.

Now, I will say that it is a double-edged sword, one thing I do not like is how eliminations don't quite feel right as they did in the first season, fish get eliminated and the other fish just stand around like "yeah ok I guess". And that is a direct result of doing things arbitrarily. I don't know for how long this will last until it gets played out, but sometimes I do like the "FUCK YOU" attitude Fishtank shows to the viewers, because I feel like it's unusual.

My bad, I didn't know that gacha games were like that. I just assumed they were pay-to-participate rather than pay-to-progress if you get what I mean.

If there's a season 3 of Fishtank, I think it would be best if Jet weren't part of it. They really need someone creative and highly energetic holding the reins for such a project. I think part of the issue isn't so much the contestants---put people in the right situations, and many become more interesting or do interesting things. But Jet himself is boring and not terribly creative. His kind of humor is good for, oh I don't know, silly tweets, or the iDubbbz gaslighting document, but a lot of it doesn't translate into a good show. He seems really divorced from what people are actually entertained by, and that's not good for a show that's supposed to have a lot of fan input.

Counterpoint: We don't actually know who's making what decisions. It just seems like all the bad ones are Jet's.

I also think he works pretty well as a "good cop."

Unironically alex schultz has remained important to the best MDE ever put out. It’d be nice if they had him on hand beyond just shooting random things.

I liked him as a shark in season 1, and he can work in a good cop/bad cop scenario when he doesn't look/act so much like a greasy Croatian wigger. I think there are capacities where he does well, but the production team in general (for a show that seems to be his idea/responsibility largely) is really lackluster while also being way too prominent this season. Season 1 had a lot of the same problems minus production being so visible. It's probably not the addition of Vance or Josie shitting things up, but who knows?

It just seems to me like there's a lot of missed opportunities for creativity. Production's loudly poking a terrarium of sleepy lizards in a reptile house, hoping they'll move. That's the impression I get.

Jet was great as a good cop in season 1, especially at the beginning. Goldstriker started off by yelling at the fish and applying pressure to be more interesting, while they all seemed to like, trust, and confide in Jet. I think Jet had an opportunity to do this again in season 2 with Ben as the "evil" producer counterpart, but the fish seemed to be intimidated by Jet for most the show, never trusting what he said (probably cause they knew too much).

Jet could be utilized best as a representative of production, rather than the director. If he can establish that kind of trust with the fish in season 3 again that would be perfect. Ben should remain as the bad cop. I don't think Sam should have a part in this dynamic. As for the ideal director replacement, I would say Alex Stein, but he doesn't have the time.

Tay threw a mixture of grits, paint, vegetable oil, and possibly some other shit on Fatty while he was sleeping on the couch. He woke up and made a funny noise, then got up and went to shower and clean himself off in the bathroom. While he was doing this, Tay prepared an ambush in the B3 doorway, and as soon as he left the bathroom she covered him in protein powder, prompting him to go down to the basement pissed off. She started preparing a third mixture of shit to throw on him when he comes back, until Ben came out and told them, "Chris is really pissed off right now, you need to let his pissed-off meter reset before fucking with him more, give it like 6 hours".

Tay has decided to go full fatty death and has been organizing strikes on fatty all morning.

The first one was with Oliver and Shinji, Tay hurled a concotion of dish soap and olive oil, Oliver hurled grits and Shinji yanked the blanket off.

Chris waddled off to shower then Tay decided to do a followup immediately after he left the shower.

Chris walked down to the Basement and Ben later congratulated them for getting him angry and that they should wait until "his pissed off meter drops back to normal at 7pm"

Actually now that you mentioned it, they do have some "QTE's" on the show already where you have to react and click it in time for free XP. Just let us earn tokens through XP levels and I'll stay on the main site.

Yeah, they basically have the whole thing built already. They just need to also trickle out free tokens. You can't get addicted to voting on polls or sending TTSs if the first hit isn't free.

Tay is prepping for round 3 and 4 already. She just nailed him with fart spray as he walked by and she has a new bucket

I'd rather Tay actually try shit with the other fish, or even Greg. Fatty is too easy.
Whats the point? She tried doing this but production overturned all the work she did to eliminate TJ and Shinji, production says its openly rigged so she is just going to go for revenge on Chris while she has the opportunity since Chris isn't capable of fucking with them via Chris Points.

Edit: Tay has started Shinji down the path of evil and he is participating in the show after 3 weeks of not doing anything.
