these are not even new pages. I saw that pic of the Bear at the bar like half a year ago... He said it will be shipping this year for Xmas, or was it Xmas 2023? hmmm, idk anymore. The guy is always late, so its kinda hard to count after the comic has been late for years. Anyway, my prediction is that the Raibow comic ain't coming in 2024... Also, the Snowman comic has been finished for quite some time now, but not even the guy drawing it knows when its coming out, as Ethan has not informed him I guess. Too busy streaming it seems.

Two more pages of the pre-fight with sad care-bear at the bar. Six more establishing panels consisting almost entirely of more head shots. Still not getting to the fight itself. He will finish Reignbow Brute sooner than expected because this is going to a masterpiece of laziness in storytelling and art. Ethan had to do three panels a page because the story demanded it.

This "Reignbow" stuff is extremely lazy-ass work. But I'm not entirely down with dunking on Ethan's art. Technically his stuff isn't that great, and that McFarlane noodling does nothing for me. Stuff of his I've seen from 15-20 years ago was better - he used to know how to use BLACK (instead of letting the "colorist" unpick all the messy details), he held back on the excesses & did nice things. He's always mentioning John Byrne, so maybe he should look at stuff like that, instead of '90s Image style stuff which is worthless shit (speaking as someone with a passing interest in comics mostly because I read the still-excellent Claremont-Byrne X-Men as a kid).

Also: Byrne could do *three* monthly books in his prime. None of these soy-drenched idlers can consistently manage *one* monthly book.

But, Smiller critiquing Ethan? LMAO. Miller is utterly hopeless. He may try to be technically proficient, but he fails miserably, and his autistic inability to "get" cartooning is embarrassing (he must hate artists like Kirby and Ditko!?). It's all so stiff and lifeless, like drawings of plastic action figures rather than people, his faces are terrible, his rendering is insipid beyond words... and he screws up basic perspective almost every single time he attempts it.

Ethan hiring that guy who rewrote ISOM because of his third-rate '90s edgelord dialogue is absolutely tragic.

To a point I agree. But when Ethan goes after Cliff Richards and Gabe Eltaeb in the way he did, he is just asking for other people to go into all the various shortcomings of his work. Not to say that Ethan is a bad or incompetent artist IMO, but rather to make it clear that EVS has as much room for improvement in his art as Cliff or Gabe does. The point is not to call out Ethan as a bad artist, but rather to show that what he has said about the people who worked on Isom could be equally be said in other ways about his own work.

Those guys are real victims in this. Because their work and professional reputations are getting attacked in public in an attempt by Ethan to go after Eric July. If Ethan had any kind of ethics or conscience, he would have confined his feud to July himself. They were just hired to do a job.

well, if you go by what EVS says then it’s because Eric can’t take criticism and he got assmad cuz Dick Masterson gave ISOM#2 an unfavorable review and Ethan agreed with it.

Now, while ISOM 2 is by no means good, we here in the thread know the real reason is because Eric wouldn’t bow and and scrape to EVS like the rest of CG does. And he did not help promote Cyberfrog 3 or help EVS get back into the good graces of FNT to give his campaign a much needed boost.

And honestly, Cyberfrog 3 doing so bad compared to ISOM 2 is very much EVS’s fault. Not only was it because people were still mad Cyberfrog 2’s bungled fulfillment (A lot of people still hadn’t received their books when the Cyberfrog 3 campaign was launched.) but, he also made the mind numbing decision to launch it right in the middle of Eric’s campaign.
Now why would Eric promote EVS’s book when he has his own campaign to run? EVS was under the impression that Eric would do like the rest of CG and promote other people’s books. That was not the case.

So, EVS dropped some private DMs he and Eric had and effectively ended their friendship over a perceived threat in said DMs.

So Eric responded by making not so vague posts about him and Voldemorting him and EVS does what EVS does by milking the drama for all it is worth.

Dax Herrea (Dick Masterson) and his pedo buddy Vito are doing a crowdfunded comic. They started attacking Eric July because (a) they have nothing to talk about on their streams and (b) He has a way bigger audience than they do.
Despite being a degenerate failure, Dax gets alot of love from certain people. He recently bragged in video about his funny yet fascinating discussions with Doug TenNapel about gay sex. Nick Rekieta would take a bullet for Dax. Ethan Van Sciver thinks he is a good guy.
Not too long ago, Dax went from verbal attacks on July to sending his shitbag followers out to hang out in front of his business and to mess with his relatives graves. Nick Rekeita then piled on because he would do anything for Dax.

Ethan Van Sciver who had been relatively on good terms with Eric July in public saw all this stuff and thought the winds were shifting against July. He saw what seemed to be an opening to go after Eric July and he took it. Ethan's Cyberfrog 3 campaign had been a disaster and the Isom campaign had been a big success. That alone made July an enemy of comicsgate and EVS. But as in the past, Ethan waited for what he thought was the right moment to turn on him.

So Ethan piled in with Nick and Dax's attacks. But it immediately went wrong. Eric July made a total fool out of a drunken Nick Rekieta resulting in an hours-long Nick copestream that was utterly insane.

I think Ethan's opening move was to roll out his retarded daughter and claim that Eric July had somehow disrespected her. Its all gone downhill from there. EVS tried to stream with Nick and kind of figured out that today's Nick is a useless idiot. Then he ran into problems due to people inside comicsgate having ties to Eric July and not getting with Ethan's agenda toward July. Declaring war on July ended up being a declaration of war as well against FNT (Friday Night Tights) and the remains of the Fandom Menace.

The more his own people resist his narrative, the more angry and deranged Ethan becomes about Eric July. Its gotten so crazy that Ethan has aligned himself progressively more with Dick Masterson's wack pack of subhuman followers to get July.
