In all seriousness, her politisperging on abortion of all things is pretty hilarious in ways I don't think she's willing or capable of understanding because she's unironically taking the eugenicist position and advocating the culling of das Untermenschen. When you hate the "/pol/tards" so much you meme yourself into accidentally becoming one. This is why I say politics breeds retardation. There's no way of having an internally consistent worldview if you prioritize scoring political points on your perceived opponents above all else. She wishes her mom was so based.
I see abortion as a utilitarian issue and there's no real room for moral arguments when it comes to that. Abortion is either a useful tool or a form of genocide depending on your perspective, to reduce this down to "my body my choice" is woefully naïve because the mere existence of that as a popular slogan implies the "choice" has already been made for those chanting it, and that means it's no choice at all. Rationally speaking, you can't really put the genie back in the bottle so the only real question is who should be aborted and why.this is a distinction without a difference. I don't like abortion either, but as a dude I don't think I have any real say in the matter. It's not my body and it's not my life.
SVU has a running theme about this issue, and I gather Mariska Hargitay must be extremely pro-life because every time abortion comes up on the show her character argues in favor of birth. The Olivia Benson character was conceived by rape.
It's much different when a woman argues for life and against abortion, because a woman understands the full implications of carrying a child to term and giving birth. I just think the whole debate would fare better if men took a back seat to some extent.
