I've been trying to figure out more about him since this whole thing started, and I can't get a good source on the old name. The only answer I've gotten is his reddit account which is u/GabesCheshire, which could mean it was maybe gabe?
And unless I missed something there weren't any clues in his previous reddit posts aside from some censored photos of him at an anime convention where you can't see his face.

Its actually a pretty genius apology.

Chugga put out all of the information needed for one to see that Emily was full of shit without looking like he was going on the offensive. A knee was bent, but it never fell to a full bow of subservience and defeat.

Pretty short and concise. Don't know if it needed a week to write, but in terms of a face saving apology it works. And he put in the jab that he spoke "privately" months ago, which calls 'Emily' out not posting the full messages and dredging up drama that was settled already. Some people would want a call for blood, but a Pokemon youtuber who runs charity events isn't going to go to war with a deranged attention seeking individual when it can be swept under the rug just as easily.

What really disturbs me about this is how it was clearly a calculated move to ruin Chuggaa's next public appearance, and that damage is done even if the public sides with him. Meanwhile those who continue to side against him will just argue with the usual "she didn't share it sooner because she felt so threatened/wasn't emotionally ready/uhh none of your business!" crap and follow it uncritically.

The thing is that people are beating up on Chugga fans for infantilizing him or using his autism as an excuse for not being able to read a situation, and in the same breath, they don't expect Lady Emily to be able to use his big girl words and state when things become uncomfortable because of "social pressure" and "reasons" and "grooming." It's insane that all this has to come to bear on a conversation that both people made awkward and that could have been cleared up in an instant if they were mature enough to handle it.

Found this screenshot on twitter. I've never used the website bluesky but this is what this is apparently from. From what people are saying he's just been making fun of the whole situation on bluesky because not many people can see it. Bluesky signup is by invite only or waitlist right now so I doubt many people have seen what he's been saying outside of his hardcore followers.

Edit: you can view it through a link on his twitter at least but i'm surprised no one is really talking about this on twitter

Update holy shit guys I found it. It looks like he used to go by the name Dalton Bray. He's mentioned multiple times in his early instagram posts by other users as Dalton. His current instagram username is "embray_97", and he's been tagged before as @daltonbray, giving me more confidence in this. The current @daltonbray account in this screenshot was also created after this comment was made.

From his recent posts on insta and facebook I believe he could still be in frisco, texas where he grew up, although not 100% on this. It says on his facebook he started college in 2015 which mean he could for sure could be 26 or 27. I was looking around as well for if he legally changed his name but so far, but I haven't gotten further than whats on his social media.
