Not only that, but they aren't giving these fish anything to do. The house is completely destroyed, what else is there to do but talk or nap at this point?

Ive grown over the years to appreciate 70s style over the years so when they announced fishtank was set in this house I was pretty bummed out thinking it would be destroyed. Now im a little more upset that it was kind of in vain because it didnt add to anything.

Another funny thing they could do though for next season is have a scuffed realitor where chat and Nick pick the house.

It kinda pains me to see the house this fucked up. It was really set up nice at the beginning of the season. Went from cozy as fuck to crackhouse.

Who would have thought sleep depriving people and feeding them like shit would lead to them having no energy and and sleeping all day?

Season 3 really needs a meals on wheels catering service that delivers food every day to the fish because while low energy makes them angry it also makes them very lazy.
I'm sure it would not impact the budget very much at all having this.

The wallpaper and stuff wasn't original. If you look at the S1 trailer, the walls are just white. Sam and Jet added the retro wallpaper for the aesthetic.

The worst that's happened to the house is the destruction of the solid wood doors. The rest is just drywall damage and ruined carpet.

The house I grew up in was this huge 60s house and all of the doors were made of solid wood, not that MDF shit. The way to go.

I have no doubt in my mind at least one member of production(probably Jet) had this great idea that if they starved them and didn't let them sleep, they'd be bound to get some real wild content as the fish looooose their minds! Turns out real people are more likely to respond to extreme stress by shutting down and turning into zombies than they are to turn into the Joker. Who woulda thunk it?

Bit off topic, but early on in the thread a few people expressed confusion when Summer mentioned streaming on tumblr. It's called Tumblr Live, and is universally reviled as the realm of the whoriest of attention whores by the users of tumblr. I went to Summer's profile while she was streaming last night and windows defender threw up a security alert. Live is being shut down entirely tomorrow and everyone is celebrating, good fucking riddance.

You would be surprised how must vintage remake stuff that they could of used. Its gotten even better through the years, If that breaks its nothing and they could keep an arsenal like Eric Andre and have a constantly fixed fishtank.

You can tell they were running low on ideas today since Sam wasn't around because he had a show to do.

Summer did a mini-interview with Turkey Tom. It was much of the same bullshit as her previous interview with the VTuber and her "I was raped" IG live. Tom played Fortnite for the first 15ish minutes of talking to her and busted out laughing at her once she hung up. She also had her manifesto/script in front of her while she talked, likely to keep her/Channing's story straight.

She did talk about "detransitioning" aka no longer pretending she was a boy, and claimed that Fred Hyde funds Kent Hospital so that Sam can keep getting away with it. I didn't bother recording it because I'm lazy and didn't know about it until last minute.

I dont belive it. Its not like sam has a history for this kind of bit.

I think I already posted this, but the grits famine period lines up exactly with the most intense period of the cast fighting each other, often times physically. The cast were lashing out at each other and half assing the competitions, this is why Sam started questioning why money wasn't motivating them to do challenges. Just mentally placing it, the grits period lasted from the attic missions for Tay and Shinji until slightly before Greg arrived. Shinji removed all of the food to the basement and Tay was told to smash the plates, but she was so sleep deprived and confused from The Cell and the Beetle chase that she just merely bent all the silverware instead.
