I got a few hobbies. Video games being the biggest one. I also like to read. I build and paint models occasionally. I haven't done that in years. When I did do it I just did military vehicles and mostly tanks. I leaned towards WW2 era German stuff. I did build a few things that weren't tanks like a Pak 40 AT gun and Sd. Kfz. 251. I have a telescope as well and got into astrophotography for a while. I have the mount for a camera. This is something else I haven't done in years.

The issue with hobbies is that you need money for them. They can be pretty expensive depending on what you want to do. I don't like being bothered by people so I need hobbies that I can do alone. I prefer it that way.

You could do stuff like fishing and hunting. But that's pretty expensive and the government intrudes in your hobby. I just stick to fishing in games.

Yup, on a cold winter's night. With 2 to 3 of your youngins you fathered with your sister and your mother. Plannin on which of them will marry each other. All while the Possum Boot stew furiously roars on a kettle in a makeshift fireplace fashioned from cinder blocks and old winter coats. As night comes to a close, grandad comes out from his room buck naked and starts playing target practice with all the rats and roaches under the floor boards until you give him a few teaspoons of Dr. Everlast -Tucker's Morphine Sulfate. Truly a scene out of Rockwell's Appalachian Series.

Literally just go outside and start walking. Do not bring a phone or anything for a distraction. Pick a random destination like a park, walk there, and sit on the bench for at least 10 minutes. Without a distraction you will be able to observe things or think about how bored you are and ways to reduce that boredom. Hopefully your answer isn't message boards.
