Mono, there's nothing really wrong with having a character who's based off of yourself in some way. "Write what you know" applies to a lot of facets, such as characters and plot and setting. But it is something that can come across as highly self-indulgent, like it does here.

Believing in yourself, determination, and hard work are all good qualities to have, but there are some limitations that you simply can't overcome, and that's if you were truly dedicating your every waking moment towards this dream. I'm not convinced you are. I think it's more likely that you're passively consuming media, rather than watching with a critical eye or spending each day practicing fundamentals of art and continuously writing and rewriting your work.

While you might be upset that the users of this site make fun of your work or call you a niggerfaggot, this is a place that will give you true and honest criticism. When you show your work to your friends and family, they may offer suggestions, but they will praise you and that's not what you need. You need whatever you make to be torn apart again and again, even when it hurts, so that you can improve. If you shut out that criticism, even if you believe it to be overly-harsh or coming from a source that's racist or whatever, it will not benefit you in the long run.
