Good lord, PK is not a musician. It's like she's trying to go for that chill type of music with a good beat and some samples slipped in it. I'm no musician, but her music just sounds like a hot mess. There's no type of rhythm to it and it's just instruments thrown all over the place like she's trying to be someone she's not. The battle music sounds OKAY, but it's just a beat with some random samples placed in it, it gave me a Jet Set Radio vibe, but not close. The sounds for each character reminds me of Undertale, where most of the main cast had their own "voice" and PK was trying to imitate that i assume.

For the ones that stood out...

- Jacklyn sounds like farts
- Claude sounds like an earthquake
- Biff is bones
- Charthur is like hearing a cat with some effects placed on top of it
- Toyle sounds like PK couldn't think of an interesting voice so it's just a weird pitched echo

If there's one thing PK should seriously work on, it's her music skills which i highly doubt. I have heard she got the idea of making her music like Pengo's, but PK is not Pengo at all. Hell, not even Toby Fox.

Don't forget Kid Neon has the almost classic gameboy-esque ping and some weird electronic stuff going on. It was actually kind of neat but a lot of it runs into the music and becomes almost indistinguishable.
She needs to tone the random instrument music volume down too.

The battle animations were actually kind of enjoyable once it worked without any bugs acting up, although the descriptions of attacks need to be a little more concise and less of the 200% nonsense.

And, of course, a weirdass ForFlor update to match.

It is pretty weird. Also the permanently extended claws seem like a poor design choice and have some uncomfortable implications.

(TBH I was hoping she'd forget about Eyebrows cat in the pornoverse.)

Actually, there are at least two transmale Flora characters that I can think of. This cat thing from that unfinished comic and Gunpowder's Flora expy (NSFW), that appeared somewhat in Gourmet Gauntlet and then never again. The transgirls are a lot more prominent characters, though, that much is true; it's no wonder the transguys have actually been forgotten to the point people don't even remember they ever existed.

Also, congratulations to Opa-Opa on finally being properly noticed by senpai. A 40-pages fanfic on one of the least creative species invented by PK, that's quite an achievement.

Congrats to Opaopa for going from groveling ass-kissing fanboy and ascending to being a noticed ass-kissing fanboy directly working with his sempai. This is the same guy who introduced his mom to Floraverse.

I played the game for a few minutes and it's ok for a demo. I'm glad there's now an option to turn off that bad music....and of course one of PK's self-inserts is hard to beat.

Probably nonbinary. PK doesn't actually have very many characters that are FtM or MtF, they're all nonbinary or genderless or something.

She's only made the barest attempt to conceal this, and the fact that someone's already pointed out a type error means that she (or her collaborator) is terribad at Javascript - particularly astounding since the language plays fast and loose with type.

She's not gonna have fun trying to sell it to anyone who isn't a slavering fan/drone on platform choice alone, but she'll definitely have fun claiming she's a for realsies game dev.
And she has three in the works.

RPG Maker? Well...pft, of course it was RPG Maker.

Props for using original resources, I guess. But still, the game so so wonky and the sprites aren't very nice to look at--too over-designed (duh, Floraverse) and small-bodied. It could easily be fixed if they made the sprites slightly bigger to fit the details, or cut out the smaller, less important markings.



Considering PK's webcomic work, I doubt her games will be anything better than mediocre.

Only speculating, but the amount of effort needed to prototype a game in RPG Maker then re-prototype in another engine before developing a finished product seems a lot more than she'd be willing to invest. So I doubt it.

Maybe that'll be the kickstarter - converting it to another engine.
