Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

I mentioned this in another thread: narcissists are people who can't understand that other people aren't always thinking of them and their needs.

The CDC might have declared the pandemic over, but we still should be thinking about the vulnerable and think twice before we do anything because we can endanger them, and by them, she means herself: "I wanna go to the beach, that's fun... but Taylor Lorenz could be there, so I better wear my mask and take another shot so I won't become a danger to her sake..."

She's done believing this thing should be enforced: she now believes we should make it out of a moral obligation. Peak narcissism.
I'd actually argue that much of the stuff even during the pandemic was couched in this moral obligation language, not actual practical concerns that needed to be enforced. Taylor, and her type, never actually cared about MAGA weirdos wandering into the grocery store in some rural area and being asked to leave, it was always an ever changing set of moral rules and roles that could be enforced against her own class in their primary sphere of social media. The hysterical language is just how they negotiate everything and then wonder why they have constant anxiety.

The latest episode of Bari Weiss's podcast was all about how (as I understand it) the moral absolutism around shit like masks, vaxxing, and the schools was hysterical, overblown, and not backed by science, and really the only people who needed to be worried were the very elderly, but everyone else was fuxating the supply chain, and we need to have a #reckoning about this.

I can't check the thread, did anyone see this yet?

Gee the economy's going to shit. hmm. Yeah you don't made a lot of money and we don't know how bad things will be without you beacons. Yeah.

It's up to you to ignite the passions as the guards shovel you all into the ovens.

I don't know why this person even bothers claiming to be 36. They are obviously in their mid forties at the bare minimum.
I actually do understand why there's so much confusion over this slag's age.

A lot of the time she uses so many filters she looks twenty but then sometimes she forgets or is caught in a candid photo and looks her true age 45+

It is very jarring watching her gain or lose twenty years between appearances.

Very uncanny valley.
The only other person on this site that I remember being insecure about their age enough to lie about it is Dan Nainan:

Dan is a textbook narcissist like Taylor is, so it’s definitely a narc thing, which makes sense.

The best part is Tay Tay calling journalist elite, rich, nepo babies.

The absolutely unnecessary vocal fry when she's just talking to herself, this stinky clam is just horrible. And she's desperately trying to pretend she's Alexandria Daddario with as much light as she can place in front of her eyes to get that eye color contrast.

very odd that Ben Collins of all people was the one who exposed Dan Nainan as lying about his age.

There's this dumb trend on lefty YouTube where they hold the microphone while talking to the camera. Taylor doing the same thing here is hilariously desperate.
I think it's more of a zoomer thing than lefty thing. Taylor is pushing 50 years old but wants to appeal to the young crowd, that's why she's using skin smoothing filters too.
