Honestly my favorite thing about this game is the customisable settings and automation that you can set up.

Like, I like the mechanics of Pokemon but sometimes I just do not want to do it or have time.

And sometimes I want a harder challenge and sometimes I just want to steamroll.

Its really really nice to have that choice whenever I want.

Add Customisation options Nintendo please for the love of god

The doomer in me says that they are going to threaten Palworld devs to bring them to court if they don't remove the game, with Japan's law system being that the bigger Corpo automatically wins. That’s mostly because those things were 1:1 and makimg money off the licence and not attempting to hide it even slightly

It’s solely because this is more put together thst they are taking their time. Also the fact that when it was announced, no one really watched the trailers or cared. The release has blown it into something no one was really expectong

I would not be surprised if some of the Pal stuff just gets updated quietly to look different.

I think if merch starts getting pushed Nintendo will start their copyright war. Gaming makes Pokemon very little money compared to the merch, which is fucking everywhere in Japan.
Seriously, when I was in Tokyo a year ago every kid I saw had some kind of Pokemon thing, and even adults had Pokemon stuff, it was ubiquitous.

That being said I think stuff like the Meowth is already iffy, that face is on stuff like the Ghibli cat bus, and a lot of chesire cat adjacent things. Ignoring it and letting the fad fade is probably the best solution, literally every monster catching game has died off after a few years.

I'm not sure I agree, there's been a lot of "Pokemon-adjacent" stuff that has been hammered quickly, granted all of those things were much closer to using the actual IP than this is but they've always been really trigger happy, Nintendo and Gamefreak alike

You've made this assertion that PocketPair are stealing from N/GF somehow and I think you're wrong, I think its derivative but Nintendo/Gamefreak doesn't own the license on every single "monster slavery" type game in existence, and I think the similarities, while present, do not represent some sort of loss of market share for N/GF.

Of course it get's worse due to the people talking about it because the only thing that they'll advertise it as is "Pokemon with Guns" and not "ARK with Pokemon" because the former will get more attention and the fact that someone was retarded enough to attempt to make money off a pokemon mod for the game probably would have been the final straw to make the statement and "investigation" that causes them to actually look into the game for what it is and not what the internet has hyped it as in the first place.

Seems to be some rando. IMO the split needs to be made between sfw/nsfw mods rather than between "normal" sex and "bestiality"
